In the early afternoon on AOL an article said Céline was pregnant although I wasn't sure of the validity of the news. Had to come here to verify whether the information was accurate. It's wonderful news for Dion/Angelil clan Céline did exactly the right thing, took time to relax and then to NYC. RC must be excited as well, I hope the pregnancy is uneventful.

I was so ecstatic when I read the news this morning. I just couldn't help but feel so happy as if it was a member of my own family experiencing this. I hope the Lord blesses you with a healthy beautiful child, Celine, and keeps your life in perfect peace. I am so overjoyed she is pregnant again at last!

 

I'm shocked we know so soon, only a day after they found out... and only a week along! I guess she wasn't kidding, she really would tell us as soon as she knew, lol.

Wow Congratulations Celine!! Wow I am so happy for her. A little sad for all of us knowing we would see her for a long time. For those of you who went to the Cleveland Ohio show a Quicken Loans remember how Celine almost lost it as she was talking about being on tour and then started talking about the show and Las Vegas and that when her son was born how she missed out being a mother because she had to devote all her time to the show. She told all of there that when the tour was over she was going to try to have another child and if God gave her the opportunity she would give up being a singer and wanted to be a fulltime mother because she wanted to experience everything a mother dose. We may see Celine but I have a feeling its going to be a long time. Love you Celine you are such a inspiration to all of us.

 

Did she really say she wants to quit singing? I know she's talked about taking time off, and not wanting to miss a moment of her child's life, but she and Rene never mentioned her giving up her career totally (that I know of!?) Rene always said Vegas would just be postponed if she got pregnant, not canceled...

I really hope that Celine is infact pregnant again. That way she wont have to tell her hopeful fans that its not true. Plus Celine said once that Rene-Charles wants a little sister.

CTV Montreal had a video saying Celine would still be going back to vegas in 2011 as planned. Apparently our 2010 timeframe was off, she is set to start pre-production in December of 2010 and publicist say these plans have not changed yet, that its sort of perfect timing because it will give her six months after baby is born to relax and just be a mom.

I am so joyed to hear that Celine is again, with child. I think we all know how very much she wants to be a mom again and here, she proves that she really can have it all. There is no doubt that Celine will take care of herself and give it her best. I wish that she has an un-complicated pregnancy and cannot wait to see pics of her growing baby bump!

It maybe just be "a rumour" but in this article it says that Maman Dion may have given the scoop away by accident. Some guy hear her answering Céline's call on her cell in a store in Rosemère. Céline was calling to announce the big news to her mom. Maman Dion started crying saying Céline was pregnant with her second child. The guy called a radio station that welcomed the news with reserve and prudence at this point. That's how the news got around so quickly this article implies. That's what a radio listener told Montréal CKOI Radio station monday evening. It's clear for them Céline would have preferred waiting some more weeks before making it public, first weeks frequently being tinged with fear. Inutile de dire que la nouvelle a aussi fait le tour de la famille Dion comme une traînée de poudre. Ce serait d'ailleurs madame Dion qui aurait par mégarde vendu la mèche lorsqu'elle apprenait elle-même qu'elle sera à nouveau grand-mère.

 

C'est du moins ce qu'un auditeur de la station CKOI a raconté en ondes lundi soir à l'émission de Francis Gilbert. Anecdote qui a mis la puce à l'oreille des médias. Selon cet auditeur, Thérèse Dion se trouvait lundi dans un magasin à grande surface de Rosemère quand elle s'est exclamée de joie devant les clients du magasin. Elle venait de recevoir la nouvelle par cellulaire.

 

«Ça vient de source sûre, a déclaré à Francis Gilbert l'auditeur exalté, parce que j'étais moi-même là, chez Maxi & Cie, juste derrière maman Dion, au comptoir de la courtoisie. Quand elle a reçu le téléphone, elle s'est mise à brailler et elle a dit que Céline attendait son deuxième petit garçon.»

 

Ce dernier s'est alors hâté de contacter sa station de radio préférée pour transmettre l'information à Francis Gilbert, qui l'a accueillie avec réserve et prudence. Mais la rumeur avait fait son chemin.

 

Il est clair que Céline aurait préféré attendre quelques semaines avant que son état soit rendu public. Les premières semaines de grossesse sont toujours teintées de beaucoup de craintes. Que l'enfant soit un garçon ne peut être confirmé parce qu'il est beaucoup trop tôt pour le faire. Céline n'est enceinte que de quelques jours, semble-t-il.

I think you missed my(our) point Selina. Of course we all know Céline IS pregnant, it's been confirmed for a while now.

 

I just thought this article(rumour) was interesting, saying Célne's mom may be the one giving the scoop by accident sooner than planned....Taking this into account that may be the reason why Céline and René decided to tell their publicist to confirmed the news if people asked.

ahahahaha OF COURSE Céline was shopping when it happened! I can imagine her grabbing up everyone she saw telling them she was pregnant! And how cute, if that is true that Céline and Maman Dion had the same ecstatic reaction! Oh how adorable! Was Maman Dion out shopping in Montreal too? " Like maman like daughter I just love this family! I tell ya guys, it has been an AMAZING day I have had a smile on my face all day!!!!

 

Just another proof that dreams can come true, no matter how old you are, or what it is, Céline has always told us that! And it's true even for her and that is wonderful!

 

She'd better break out some designer maternity wear for a few months down the road! Can't wait for that!

Congrats to Celine Dion, who at 41 is pregnant with her second child.

 

Dion and her hubby Rene Angelil, 67, have been trying for baby number 2 for years and after working with fertility doctors in New York City, she was able to become pregnant again, according to her rep.

 

"Celine and René are very happy," and "They are crazy in love over the news ... they are overjoyed."

 

Dion has been expressing her desire to become a mother again for years now. She admitted that after she wrapped up her tour, they would begin trying treatments again.

 

Just a few months ago she told Oprah, "We are going to give it a try after my tour. Hopefully we (can get) pregnant again. I have a small window of hope. But we have been so blessed already. We tried six years for Rene-Charles. We have our miracle baby."

 

Her husband’s battle with cancer had raised doubts that the couple could conceive again, but it looks like Dion got the miracle she was hoping for!
