I vote for:

 

1) A L'Olympia (great concert and setlist!)

2) A new day...CBS Special

3) Unison tour (which is only in VHS)

The blonde A New Day dvd would defenitely be my first choice! I'm praying that they will release it sooner or later.

The millenium concert and live in Memphis, would be great too.

yeah- was there - AMAZING concert. My favorite actually. Have it on CD. From that moment that she came up through the floor with that glow around her to the final moment, that girl was incredible that evening. And most of it was actually sung. So precious these days!!

An english LTAL show (if there is one), then the full show of Millennium - as there were adverts etc during the broadcast.

Not that bothered about Memphis - have it on vcd. Would only buy it if there were extras.

Well, if it was left up to me, WHATEVER was ever filmed, of ALL her shows, i would put on DVD.

 

I would buy it all. Can neva get enough of Celine. You are right, there are not many English DVDs of her shows, and i am sure there are many english ones.

 

But even if its only French, its ok. Its Celine. Love you Celine

So do I. Logic tells you that the only way it will be released as a standalone release (meaning all by itself, not with the regular DVD) is if it is released in 50 years as a way to keep Celine and her legacy alive. The only way in which I see it being released before her retirement is if it is included with the 2007 DVD in a special edition package.

So its been 3 years and Celines team/Sony have given us nothing of DVD releases (of older material) . Why is it they can re-release so many CD's but not DVD's? Its kinda annoying because, im sure they know what we want but still no word of a DVD at all!

 

i still want the millennium concert (especially as we found out there is a HD version they have in their files)

 

Memphis concert would be so good! - How flipping hard is it for them to put this on DVD? The concert is already finished and it is amazing! There is no reason why this isnt of DVD! Its so annoying - It would sell so well!

Actually, in May it'll be two years since her latest home video release. (The 3 Taking Chances World Tour DVDs) I agree with you man, I don't understand why they don't seem to want to release these DVDs, but there's gotta be a reason; Live in Memphis was scheduled to be released on DVD in Japan in February of 2008 but the release was cancelled in the last minute for unknown reasons. However, the DVD must have already been edited, that's for sure. And I was amazed as well when I watched the HD clips from the Millenium Concert as well.

Today I watched the bonus DVD included in the AND...LILV album, the documentary called "One Year One Heart". Oh God, they should have released the blonde version of A New Day taped in 2004! The concert sets were so much impressive in the first years than later when they gave more space to the band members. Not to mention that her voice was better than in the 2007 DVD, less nasal. We should have that DVD!

I've just sent a message to Darren asking him about the request he made to Sony and Celine's people back in 2009 about certain unreleased DVDs. I also sent a message to a forum member (who's nick I can't remember) about a bootleg he recorded at a Falling Into You concert in Bruxelles.

How cool would it be, if they gave us just 1 DVD, i dont think we would mind which one as long as we get a new DVD! I love my Celine DVD's but talk about being over used........ lol

 

I would go for the millenium concert, but i would even settle for Live in Memphis, we just want something new right?

 

What really really annoys me is when i visit the Music shops in the UK and i see a wall full of artists with 6/7 DVD's each for sale, and i look for Celine and she only has All the Way.... Decade of song, and Through the eyes of the world! "A NEW DAY" is never on the shelf! Most other artists have loTS of DVD's, How many Madonna DVD's can you buy in most HMV?

I asked Sony UK to look into it several times, but I think the other branches at the top must not be interested to do this, as we have an edition of A new day... on DVD

 

But I do think we should get a few performances from that taping that were later taken out of the show i.e, Nature boy, Fever, At Last, and What A Wonderful World... as a DVD bonus or something to accompany a new release, or have a special 10 year ''A new day...'' bundle next year to celebrate the show, and have the show DVD, CD from the Show, A new day... souvenir thing ( show ticket, magnet, programme, or never seen before performance pic ) along with this special bonus DVD of the blonde performances...

 

Something like that would be cool... I think anyways!

Yeah... ideas ideas, its great how us the fans have always cool ideas for Céline releases, but the one who is responsible for this (Sony) appears to have any other than re-releasing the same 3-4 albums all the time

 

And what surprises me the most is their lack of interest in Céline. When and why did they lost it?

I know this may sound silly, but is there anything we can do as fans? Can we ask, maybe a pertition or something to relese something for us on DVD? If they know enough fans want it, maybe they would do something for us? or am i being silly? lol

That's what I always wondered. How can we (the fans) make a difference in her DVD releases? We still CAN wait for a DVD of her current show in Las Vegas, but they could keep us fresh with some releases from past shows, like the Millenium Concert or even A l'Olympia, which they didn't release (but had filmed on video) because of the huge success of the Live à Paris home video release back in the day.

Maybe it just me, but I never liked the blonde hair that Celine had. Also I would like to see AND out again here in Australia.

Seeing the heart stage lit during 'Love Can Move Mountains' would be really awesome. I've never seen the full stage of this song, waiting for video booklets of Providence 1999 which Thomas or Vic will upload!!!
