Concerts which should be released on DVD!

Personlly i think that anything new is great! Im tired of watching the same few DVDs we have I think if there is a chance we may get a new DVD out of it we should! A new day blond hair is a great concert and so different to our A New Day 2007 version! Heres for hoping!

I could care less about 90% of the stuff mentioned since most of it was on VHS or broadcasted on TV (thus it's all over youtube). Two things that NEED to be released NOW are LTAL English leg and Celine Dion Tour. =)

This might be old to some people but I have just come accross this on YouTube the rehearsal session from the A New Day Live In Las Veags March 15'th 2003 and it's amazing.I have never seen it before and it's 100% live.The Power Of Love is an amazing strong performance.

Hey guys

I see quite a few people would love ''A new day...'' - ( Celine with the blonde hair ) released on dvd, which I think would be a great idea!!

Someone in the A new day... dvd extra's, ( I can't remember exactly who ) I think it was Celine, said the dvd with the '' blonde hair '' was binned...
I wonder if it was literally binned, or was it it shelved/archived or put in a safe somewhere?!?

But I think if it was not actually destroyed or lost, that we should start a big petition, to get it released as a rare/collectors item.
As it would benefit everyone if it were to be released.... Sony, Productions J, Celine and Rene's company, and more importantly us the fans!

At the time most of us didn't like '' her look '' so it was scrapped, but now that the show has wrapped and time has past, I think everyone would pay for a copy of this dvd...
As she had a different look, different costumes, a different setlist and obviously stuff that was filmed as extra's then also.

'If' I can find out if it still exists, would anyone be interested in getting a huge petition started, to be passed onto Sony and Celine's people, to hopefully get this released sometime in the future??

We just need a huge amount of people to twist their arms into possibly making the decision to release it... and I think there is no better place of pulling this off, than this forum...
I'll check first if it still exists! lol

I wouldn't mind having it either. In certain photos, it doesn't look so bad. It's just that so many people hated it that they didn't release it.

Of course I would like to see the TC chances Salt Lake City concert which is the concert that I attended and would love to watch it again. Partly for sentimental reasons because but mostly because it was an awesome concert since Celine really pulled out all the stops that night. Of course I would enjoy any DVD of the TC World Tour even it is of another city in the US. The concert is special to me since Celine looked right at me for a moment during one of the songs. I was close and if I had been just to the left of the ramp I could have touched Celine's hand like some other fans got to do that were sitting there. IMO

That's not live at all. It's as lipped as any of the last 1200 performances of that song.

and also i think they should release a boxset for CSB specials and for those concerts that was only boardcast on tv! and include some tv appearance this would be really nice

I got an email from CDFC about Olympia video. All it said was that if its not for sale via the Boutique, then they don't have any information about it and can't help. Absolutely useless, they know nothing about Celine do they?? Not surprising response either - expected it. Was worth a try i suppose.

I agree! I don't think they would just trash it...it's historic, part of her career, even if it never reached the general public. Especially if they put all of that money into it! I would sign, because I would love to see how she started and then be able to see how the show evolved into what AND LILV shows! Plus the tickets I had to go see her were right after it started and then she cancelled, so it would be the show I would have seen!!!

Blonde AND wouldn't be top of my list for a petitioned release. As far as feeling are concerned they have just released the ultimate version of AND and that's the one they want the public to see. Would be amazed if they consider releasing an earler version now.

Millenium Concert, Celine Dion tour, english LTAL tour, a proper COML tour. These are far more interesting possibilities for a future DVD release.

Sadly though, I don't think that older tours debuting on DVD is something that many record company considers financialy viable. I doubt at this stage that we will see any of these for many many years. As for the very early days, I think sadly, that's an image of Celine that they'd rather we forgot about. Thank God for the Multimedia section.

When we know how long Celine has been in the industry, sony havent relesed many Concerts on DVD have they?

For english fans there is:

.the colour of my love concert

.A New Day

.These are sepcial times DVD with the CD

For the french fans there is:

.Live a paris

.au cour du stade

.sur les plaines/live a Quebec

To me there should have been alot more concerts and DVDs releced, i get tired of seeing the same concerts over and over again! does anybody else feel the same
