Hell, sometimes I even pack my suitcase about 5 minutes before I leave home The only thing I worry about are the places on the plane... Montreal is seriously the nicest city ever. Both the people and city itself are amazing. Last time I went, I was having trouble with the metro machine, and someone came and helped me without me even asking. I was shocked because I live near New York City, and if you're in the subway, losing your way...most of the time, no one will help lol. And everyone is willing to speak English for you if you don't know french, for the most part. It's just so friendly there, you'll see, once you get there, you'll feel at home and all those traveling worries will go away. I looove Montreal. Ok! I'm leaving for work, then staying at my mom's tonight. Then I'm off to Montreal in the AM. See you all friday and have safe trips!! If you prefer something closer to the Bell Centre, there's a few hotels in the area that are maybe about 90+ USD to start. Otherwise, rates start at about 50-60 USD for other hotels in Montreal. What I recommend is maybe use a site like kayak.com where you can sort by your main "criteria" (i.e. price or distance to the stadium)...that'll help you narrow down the list and then you can read reviews from a site like tripadvisor.com about ones that you might be interested in. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for you support of this fan gathering, your willingness to go above and beyond in helping each other, and the warm, fuzzy feeling that I get from your posts each and every day. You are very much appreciated in my life! I am at work until midnight tonight, then home to do some last minute packing, possibly get some sleep and then up at 4:30am to get to the airport. My plans changed a little as I decided to take an offer for an open ticket for Celine for the Feb 10 show in Quebec City; couldn't let such a valuable prize go to waste...could I?? I am still fighting illness, but decided today that it was not going to stop me from making the most of this amazing trip to be.
