Hi all,

What a great day yesterday. I am unable to view the video posted for: "Celine Dion International Fan Gathering Feb 09 - CBC News: Montreal at Six" at YouTube. It says that the video is no longer available. Can someone help me to find a video that I can view? Maybe could someone post the video on Facebook?

 

Celine Dion fans are the nicest people in the world!!!!!

Ill post the video on facebook. Just give me a few minutes. Its just a recording of the tv so it's bad quality but you can still see pretty much everything. Plus it has the news clip of the stalker guy right before for anyone that missed that news

Well I order for this to happen we just have to junp on it. Make this happen before tickets go on sale to the pubic.

Still a long time to go though and nothing is confirmed yet at this moment, however when I'm back at home I'll send some mails to some people I know in the industry to keep me posted on the issue of her return to Vegas.

Ya, sorry guys. I dropped the ball on that one. I forgot to contact Christine and meet up with her for it. There was so much to do and so little time. I mentioned the forum on camera the last time the CBC crew taped me, but they didn't put any of that footage in their final clip. And...I talked the forum up to everyone who'd listen at the concerts, lol! So here's hoping more members join regularly in the next little while.

The day-trip to Charlemagne was fun & interesting! Despite being really, REALLY cold!!

Thanks to Tam for driving her bf, Amber, Veronique & I around. She definitely knew her where she was going... even with being from Tahiti!! Too cool!

We even got to see Celine's current home in Laval before we picked up Veronique! What a lovely surprise, and I didn't know her estate was on a private island/peninsula! We saw the police cars, but didn't know about the story of the intruder until the next day on the newspaper!!! The man was just there 1 hour before we got there..... crazy.

 

Anyway, it was really neat to see the town where Celine grew up in. Her home (or just the piece of property rather), the globe monument, the patisserie, etc. Since I'm the only Asian girl.... you can definitely see me in the CBC video a few times! LOL

 

Then I cannot believe we spent a few hours just eating & chatting with other fans over at Nickel's Restaurant!! Luckily they didn't kick us out

Well I glad you had a great time , I have one question,, did you ask amber where the bar WAS when she was younger, and was singing with her sister/ father, or when she was doing homework. btw did you get pictures of her house.I know that the bar is no longer there, but how far of a walk was it for her, I think she was around 5 yrs or so.

65 names! Yup, I saw it but seems not many are photographed. Are they hiding or something? And what was the surprise from Veronyk?

well not all of them showed up but we had plenty of blank name tags and my sister was busy busy busy writting down names for everyone. It was such a cool atmosphere that evening. being in a room full of Celine-iacs like me all of us sharing the same passion.

 

I think Veronyk surprise was that she found that cafeteria the Dion's used to go to ...you can see it in the CBC reportage.

Actully it was the house that Adhemar and Therese build. IT said in all biography that she was on Sacre-Coeur street, but not It was on St-Jacques street.

 

Therese heard in the news on radio that the governement (I guess, don't remember) was giving some money to the people who can build fondation of a house so Therese convice Adhemar that they were able to do so, they had the money and build the house.

 

Therese was pregnant at this moment and build it so it's pretty cool. Celine never stay there, but I think it a part that we have to see.

 

So that was it, but just Tam and is boyfriend, Kerry and Amber see it, because we didn't have time for this part of the tour... But that was cool, at least I know where the house is lol.

 

And I found where the Fondation of Maman Dion is based lol.
