Anyone else in for a summer get together? Give us dates you're available...and of course if you're up for the trip I know, Jimena, Elizabeth, and Veronique should be up there already in the summer, and I will MAKE THEM GO lol. Dead serious! If anyone knows please fill me in! I've talked to you on Facebook about this, and I'm still a little confused because I'm looking into doing the same. Quebec is a little different than the rest of Canada I think if you're looking to move there. I know the quebec customs site has a little quiz thing you can take that will tell you if you are qualified to apply for residency. (I am not) You have to speak french pretty well, not fluent, but advanced, and have at least a year of proffesional work experience in the U.S. and theres other stuff that helps out too. I think another option is that you can just go up there for 6 months as a visiter, find a job, and get your work visa through them. Another option would be to send resumes out to people now, get a job before hand and get your visa that way. Umm what I'm doing is going to school and getting my student visa, and probably working illegally lol since with a student visa you can only work up to 20 hours, obviously I'll need more money then that to live on my own. The Canadian/Quebec customs sites have a lot of info about it. I believe you can also get someone who already lives up there to sponsor you or something?
