Well, i'm in the minority - but i want Vegas to happen. If she bases anywhere again i'd like it to be there. Like someone said if she does it'll be taking over from Elton so it would only be for say 2 months a year. The rest of the year would be for recording, being at home - and for other projects. What's wrong with that??

 

Personally, i'd love for her to do another AND show - but a french one in Montreal/Quebec city in 10 years time. Obviously not so ott like Vegas. Now that show would be something to see!!!

 

But nothing is confirmed - until she finds out whether baby no.2 is happening or not i don't think anyone should get carried away.

I don't know about the French album's release date. It can't be soon enough tho. I'm so bored of her now. I need quality at last.

 

JP Ferland quality - he is the perfect man for writing Céline songs. HE knows how to work them words. Not as tragic as JJG he is but tragically romantic which I would find refreshing in the midst of crap she's been putting out recently.

I am Celine's greatest fan, I don't think the words are one of the best...no sorry!!!....quality should be in the heart of the fan...thought i also think her voice in the last album was strange,,,,anyway I adore her and TC album... I don't have the money to go out there for one. For another....that whole thing just seemed to tire her out beyond compare. Yeah, it might seem glamorous and amazing to able to be a singer and sing live on stage...but can you imagine doing the same thing EVERY day 5 days a week. No matter what it is, that can tire anyone out. Get up, have a few hours with family, sound check, press, show, sleep....and again. Maybe it's just me, but repitition like that in my day...get up work, go home, sleep....gets me super depressed, and from watching the AND dvd, when she was driving to the show...she didn't seemed all that thrilled to go. Also, I think a lot of people are against it because performing in vegas pretty much means your career is over. I think she'll have fans regardless. If she's happy with going back, then I'm all for it, but it seemed to drag all of the passion out of her. Theres no more infamous cheast pounding in her performances! Hah. Although she got slammed with jokes for it, I loved seeing her get so into the song. Now it seems like a job more than a dream to her. Maybe she likes the stability though because she had a full life of traveling and having each day be something different. Hah, I don't know.

So glad to have these news, Celine really should focus much more on recording, this big tour is great, but made her sick.......

I find it highly surprising that some of you STILL as of now didn't have the slightest clue that she IS coming back to Vegas whether she is going to have a baby or not. It's been said many way and many articles have been written on the topic on her Vegas come back.

She totally needs to rest her voice. She's forcing it too much since 2003, now with the world tour again, and it would be the worst decission to continue doing concerts in 2010 AGAIN. She needs to miss the stage for a time, to return with new passion about singing.

She needs to focus on the recording process and making quality songs, not to enter in the studio in a hurry like she's been doing with the past albums and then she forgets about it

1a people will forget about her (many already thought she quit singing)

1b no matter how good the new album(s) they will be ill promoted, so they'll never reach the amount of people it should

2 Probably an aweful, uninspired setlist, I'm guessing AND part 2 with only 3 to 4 new songs which leads to

3a a lot of them will be playback (or partly playback)

3b the grand return of robotic celine

4 in a way she can never top AND, it will even be just as, or worse; in any case it will aways be compared to it

5 she can risk vegas throat again

6 even more americanization of la p'tite quebecoise

7 even more radio singles only, which will flop anyway due to 1b

8 she's less reachable for fans

9 she doesn't get the break she deserves

10 it will cost fans a lot of money encore to get to see her

11 vegas = probably no second child

12 vegas = probably no callas movie

13 she should be; been there, done that

I truly think that Celine is exhausted- I think when we see her on those youtube shots signing autographs etc that she is just so tired. Since AND began she has been like a machine- she has to stop or she will really begin to hate everything about singing. NO big fanfare - Oh Celine is going away again- just stop doing things for 2 - 3 years. Then if she wants Vegas (NO NO NO) then fine, but to start a new Vegas show in 2010 is too soon- the rehearsals, the business side of it....she needs to have a bit of a stress free ride for a while.

 

Or else Foster will be right- she'll just walk.

I think that she needs a break too. Two years at least like the last time. And then she could RETURN to the music scene. And if she is tired of touring, I'd be happy if she'd release only albums (1 album a year) with a bit of promo (TV specials, appearances in shows, etc). Even if she'd do it like that, she'd still sell...
