Promoters are working on a new date later on her concert tour.

Wow. Poor thing. She kept going going going since LV, and I bet now it's all catching up with her. Only a few more months until she can get a well deserved rest! Why would they schedule a Jay Leno appearence during all of this? Give her a break!

AEG Live, the promoter of Celine Dion's Taking Chances World Tour, has rescheduled the artist's November concerts in Omaha, Denver, Salt Lake City and San Jose, while Celine recuperates from a recurrent naso-pharyngeal infection which was further complicated by inflamed vocal chords. Her physician has instructed her to refrain from singing in order to completely recover.

 

These concerts have been rescheduled for the following dates:

 

Omaha, Qwest Center - Thursday, February 26, 2009

 

Denver, Pepsi Center - Tuesday, February 24, 2009

 

Salt Lake City, EnergySolutions Arena - Sunday, February 22, 2009

 

San Jose, HP Pavilion - Friday, February 20, 2009

 

Fans should hold on to their original tickets as they will be honored for the new concert dates. Fans unable to attend the rescheduled concerts can obtain a refund at their original point of purchase.

Yeah I was looking at that myself. The emotional end the tour in Montreal is no more due to all these postponed concert. It's very unlike Celine to cancel so many shows, must be quite bad.

Brilliant idea - she must be feeling rubbish. If a whole load of get well cards come flooding in then she will know how much we love her and how we are hoping and praying she will get well soon!

I'm not gonna lie, this really sucks. I had tickets to see her in SLC next week. I understand it's not her fault, and there's nothing that can be done, but it sure stings. I'm sure it's a lot of pressure to have to postpone those dates, but I hate that it's all the way to the end. I'm gonna see her in the last few stages of the tour and I just hope she's not completely worn out and tired being so close to the end. I'm really disappointed, but I know she can't help things like this, so that's all I'm gonna say.

Wow. This is really upsetting.

 

I hope everything works out for the best. She needs to recover 100 percent before stepping back onstage - or else she'll just get worse. I imagine one more full week of recovery time is all she will allow herself, though.
