Ok, I'm starting to worry a little. (I was trying not to, because worry leads to anxiety which leads to totally freaking out.) I mean, most likely she'll be fine in a couple of days, weeks...and every human gets sick. But her upcoming schedule is already so hectic it's gonna get harder and harder to reschedule things, and keep up. Let's just keep her in our prayers.

How long does she have that already? I guess more than a month already. Strange that it occured again after the Ottawa concert. Such a tour schedule must be very hectic, no wonder she gets sick from time to time (Australia and now). But yes, it's only human and she'll be fine sooner (hopefully) or later.

I feel sorry for all of you who wanted to attend the show(s) and it's very sad for those who can't go to the rescheduled concerts.

Ticketmaster have confirmed that tomorrows show in St. Louis has also been postponed (new date to be announced).

 

The next show will now be Tulsa on November 13.

The Tulsa, OK show that was scheduled to go on today has now been rescheduled for February 2, 2009.

 

She must be SERIOUSLY, SERIOUSLY ill. I hope she takes all the time she needs to get better. The worst thing to do would be to push herself too hard and make things worse. Unfortunately, I think that's what happened after the concert in Canada a few days ago.

wow! she has never cancelled this many shows before! a few in a row, yes, but this many? i wonder what is really wrong with her. What they are describing just sounds like a bad cold, but she's had it for weeks now, so its cant just be that! her voice didnt sound hoarse at the ceremony or at the concert she did do, so it still doesnt sound like they were describing, yet people said she did seem under the weather. I wonder what on earth it is that can knock her out like this?! she's obviously really poorly poor thing!

KANSAS CITY CONCERT ON SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 15 RESCHEDULED

November 11 , 2008

 

AEG Live, the promoter of Celine Dion's Taking Chances World Tour, has rescheduled the artist's Kansas City concert at Sprint Center, originally scheduled for this Saturday, November 15, 2008, while Celine recuperates from a recurrent naso-pharyngeal infection which was further complicated by inflamed vocal chords. Her physician has instructed her to refrain from singing in order to completely recover.

 

Celine's concert has been rescheduled for Saturday, January 3, 2009.

 

Fans should hold on to their original tickets as they will be honored for the new concert date. Fans unable to attend the rescheduled concert can obtain a refund at their original point of purchase.

this is insane. maybe she is preggers, that would be wonderful for her. If not, I hope it's nothing too serious, and get well soon Celine. It is weird that her voice seemed clear when she was talking in those speeches, but maybe she was hyped up on meds. hah. My thoughts exactly. I'm sure too that if it was something life threatening, they would tell us. But because she's a singer and it's affecting her vocal chords, it's more serious for her that way than it would be for us.

But it's awful to read that shows just keep on being reported.. And now she won't be having practically any free time between the rest of the shows. Hopefully she'll get better soon, it's so wrong for her to be sick.

Tonight has been a really bad night. On my way to college a man hit the side of my car. When I got home I was told about the Kansas City show being postponed. I have been waiting to see Celine for 12 years now. I know a few months is not long but I have waited for so long!!! As much as I wanted to see her I want her to get well soon. I pray everynight for her as everyone should. The new date is January 3rd 2009, the first tour date of the new year. See you soon Celine.

Since Rene's bout with cancer getting pregnant has become less easy. She'd have to go through invitro or some other procedure and we know she wouldn't be doing that in the middle of her world tour. It wouldn't make any sense! She's NOT pregnant! I do however hope she feels better soon, gets the tour finished, and is able to settle down again and have another baby.
