It sounds like she has that dry Vegas throat for 90% of the song. The only part I like is when she sings at the end "when your love is on the front line" for three consecutive times. Otherwise the song doesn't really have any direction; it's like the same words over and over again and she just sounds so tired. The songwriter must've been devastated to find out it didn't make it onto 'Taking Chances.' Imagine how ecstatic he was when he found out it made her Greatest Hits cd (even though it's not worthy to be on there, let alone will ever be a 'hit'). Quote

BUUUT, the drums are still cheesey. I would enjoy it much more without the stupid "soldier" drums in the beginning. I like how it gets more and more powerful throughout the song.
