On itunes Spain they just added the album, the ultimate one have some remixes as bonus:

 

My Heart Will Go On (Tony Moran's Anthem Vocal)9:40

That's the Way It Is (The Metro Club Remix) 5:28

I Drove All Night (Hex Hector Extended Vocal Import Mix)7:49

I Want You to Need Me (Thunderpuss radio mix)4:31

Misled (MK's History Mix)6:41

Those remixes aren't exclusive at all, I'm sure most of the fans have already them.

 

I have them, but for those who don't, it will be terrific to get them from iTunes Spain or any other digital distributor.

But those remixes were available for ages and people still can find them easily on internet or on P2P softwares for free and in high quality. I simply think there won't be a lot of people who will pay to get them.

You may be right, but there are people who like to support the artist and would prefer buying that version instead of having it the other way. I am not a saint and I download a lot of things for free, but when it comes to Celine, I don't care because I do support her and I'm planning to buy as many versions I can for my collection. If your decision is not to buy the album, I'm not going to hate you for that. If you think the CD is a ripoff, that's fine, it's your decision and I respect that.

Louder volume doesn't mean remastered It means artificially enhanced and sonically crippled. And besides - what detail would one hear from a bleepsy electronic behemoth like IDAN?

 

Of course I know that.. I always use headphones when I listen to music, so I instantly discsovered that they did more then just make them louder.. and I used IDAN as an example for the reasons you mentioned..

 

Anyway.. What edit is IACBTMN?? It starts so quickly...

 

 

I know i wondered if it was just for the promo - but no...its a wildly edited version. Sounds weird because of it. At the start and at the end.

 

Naturally I put several Celine cds on top so she's even more prominent and hiding TittyWank.

In 3 of the hmvs i went into today in oxford street my love was at number 18 in the singles chart! Looked good even though it wasn't true haha.

My girlfriend has already bought a few of the standard editions today at lunch time for xmas presents...

Here in Spain it will be released tomorrow, so I think the same might apply to your country. A friend from Denmark just got hers. It's just a matter of waiting a couple of days, as release schedules vary from country to country.

I see your point and I totally agree. But unfortunately you can't compete with that. It's good you want to buy it.

 

I see it's available on iTunes Sweden. Probably you can buy it there.

Just back from HMV, and got my copy of the Ultimate Collection!!!

 

There was 4 rows of the album, both editions, not many left either,lol... but most ppl who shop there seem to be buying more copies of the Ultimate edition rather than the basic edition, as there was alot fewer of them in that section...

 

Also they had special little shelves that stick out for dvds from that artist, and celines was the ''a new day'' dvd.... and it was empty

looking round there was other artists with these little shelves full of there dvds, so it was great to see!

I just can't wait till Wednesday for my Amazon order to arrive! I'm going to have to though as there are no HMVs or anything where I live!

 

I'm going to London on Friday so I might buy the 1CD version there or maybe just the single cos I have hardly any money at the moment (I'm in the middle of paying off my £700 laptop debt to my parents! )

Its mad looking back on this....... I was told about this album @ the o2 back on may 8th,

I started this topic with you guys in early june to see what songs you would like to see on the album, and today the album is out in the uk, its gone so fast, its crazy!!!

 

Fingers crossed, for a great chart position this weekend!

got my copy of the Ultimate essential... from HMV today and it was all over the shop!! not that that stopped me from putting it all over the front of mariah's album

 

seemed to be selling well - the shelves of the album were more empty than some other big artists with albums out this week. they also had it on the top row of their "gift ideas" shelf which is good so hopefully lots of people will by it with christmas in mind!!

went into Zavvi to get the basic edition and it was also put in some very obvious places where a lot of people were gonna see it - makes me very happy!

 

Come on Celine!!!

 

And I totally LOVE "There Comes A Time"!!!!

I remember reading once in a forum that everyone who goes to a record store should put Belinda Carlisle's albums in front of Mariah's. (Since Carlisle goes after Carey).

Remember Celine's demographic guys- her listeners (the great majority of) do not download- she relies on album sales physically from shops- I believe it's how she's so successful today and the 'Biggest Selling' title exists cos Mariah's, Madonna's listeners would torrent the album etc

i think ill buy the simple version when it arrives at brazilian stores...just to have the 2 versions...

 

in brazil she had some success on soap operas...i havent heard about a special tracklist here...

but maybe they could add another track.

Just by looking at this week's UK Chart makes me sick. I love Girls Aloud single, and it absolutely squashed the competition by outselling Pink by more than two to one. And they had performed on the X-Factor. Why Sony missed on that and cancelled "Taking Chances" last year is still so unacceptable to me.

Yes and that's my point- that the younger audiences of Pink etc will download rather than buy whereas most peole 35 and above would buy (in my non-expert opinion)
