Did you draw those? If so, your way of working with shadows are MAGNIFICNT!!! I so admire that skill. A lot of aspiring artists are afraid of working with shadows and those who does try to avoid doin it too much so it all will look very brieely done, but this is somewhat extraordinary.

 

Do you paint aswell... If you use the same sort of shadowing in your painting it must look something simila to Da Vinci's work.

Celine Dion In Malaysia

The batik shawl is a gift from Tourism Malaysia.

 

Five hours before her first concert in Malaysia, Celine Dion held a brief press conference (it was so short only eight questions were allowed and the room was packed with journalists from Malaysia and abroad) at Ritz-Carlton in Kuala Lumpur.

 

Known more for her vocal prowess than her sense of style (remember that faux pas at the Oscars where she wore a tuxedo backwards? ), Celine actually looked stylish (and fashion foward too!) in a lavender gypsy-inspired top, sequinned vest, asymmetrical skirt and gladiator shoes (by Alaia).

 

The Canadian chanteuse admitted that, just like other high-profiled celebrities, she too was giddy with fame and popularity when she first hit it big. "I had my head in the clouds. But it was the people around me, like my manager and husband, who brought me down to earth again. I can tell you now, for certain, that I am well-grounded. For me, I just do the showbiz job that I have to do but I do not participate in (the fame game)," the 40-year-old singer said.

Wow, Krys, you are so talented and now it become praised in, I'm sure, the best possible way for you: Céline saw and admired your drawings!!! What could be better than that?! And than she even ask you to send her one - simply WOW!!!

 

I used to draw in the past... I don't want to talk about why I'm not doing this anymore...

Anyhow, I also prefered to work with pencils and eventually with crayons but I hated painting so I can really well understand your point in it.

 

If you want, I can share my drawings with you but I don't know which section here is appropriate for this??

hello all.

i agreed with all the forum member that celine truly amazing esp her voice.

quite disappointed that i did not managed to see her at her press conf.

gotta chance to meet krys/jesscc/malaysiaceline and jade.

it's so funny that actually jade and i work under the same company.

it's a pleasure to meet all of u guys.

the bad thing about the concert was the seat is wet and i was surrounded by people who is so damn passive.

some of them just stare at me when i sing a long with celine.

Anyway, I'm happy and sad at the same time. Happy because of many things but sad because of ONE thing. I missed the whole "happening" scene at the hotel press-con because I was still on my way back from Shanghai. Sigh....

 

I wish I had an autographed Céline SOMETHING! But, no luck on that scene.

 

Anyhow, you've read Krys' and Gary's review. I'll try to post mine shortly, when I have composed myself to rethink what went on the whole of yesterday.
