Mariah w00t.gif definitely copied Celine Las Vegas and Taking Chances concerts. It's not just a sparkling dresses, see her dancers, but it's funny because Mariah doesn't know to dance.

You clearly said the word copied, so don't try to act like you meant something else. You know what you said.

I don't see why you're telling me to "inform" myself, as I have seen Celine's concerts and know what she has done. Celine has done moves, she has never done heavy choreography. She has danced but not in the way a professional does. In my personal opinion she is not a "good" dancer. She's capable of doing moves and putting on a performance but that is it.

Mariah did attempt choreography on The Adventures of Mimi, in songs like Honey and even a part of Heartbreaker. However she is not very good either. Neither of them are very good dancers, so there is no need to praise one and put down the other when they have both done around the same amount of choreography.

Again, why must everyone compare these two artists? They are completely different and do their own thing. End of story.

Yes I said what i saw from these photos. Be honest :msn-wink: you haven't seen any Celine concert , if you watched them, you would noticed how Celine danced disco , and disco choreography is very difficult, even proffesional dancers have problms to learn it, When Mariah danced disco?. You probably haven't seen Celine Vegas concerts to, her jazz and modern artistic choreography , where she was been a true leader of the dancers, on a stage which is half of the football field , and she was very successful.

forgive me but honestly, i can't see any similarities of that picture to the cover of her debut album. it looks a lot like to the picture in the inlay of her Emotions album (same projection + the necklace). :mellow:

Just to let you know that a few days ago, Obsessed passed the 80M mark of audience impressions and currently has 84.192M. ''Obsessed'' is at #15 on US iTunes at the moment.

''I Want To Know What Love Is'' which was released yesterday is currently at #26 on US iTunes with impressions (growing by 1M impressions everyday :-D ) and currently has 6.703 impressions.

MOAIA was pushed back to October 3d in Japan and a few other countries.

Mariah on Oprah at Rumsey Playfield, New York

Central Park in the fall is a grand spectacle of urban nature, but the usual autumn show there just picked up some fire power. This Friday, people pushing strollers will be joined by Oprah Winfrey, who will broadcast live from Rumsey Playfield. Mariah Carey will be guesting, performing a song from "Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel." Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa, a not-exactly underexposed pair, will be on hand, as will a lot of the gray squirrels that make Central Park such a wild kingdom. But if you want to watch it from somewhere besides your couch, you'll have to enter a lottery, which promises to be fairly frantic. A press release outlines the procedure:

A limited number of tickets for this special live broadcast are still available at Oprah.com. Anyone interested in attending must go to Oprah's Web site to secure a reservation. Reservations are first-come, first-serve. Anyone who plans to attend the taping must have an official ticket and valid photo identification - audience walk-ups will not be permitted. All tickets are free. All guests must be 18 years of age or older.

So, you might want pull yourself up off that sofa, by your bootstraps, natch, and make an effort to join Oprah for a walk in the park. And skip the hot dog cart on the way in. You know Oprah would not approve.
