Mariah Carey wasn't happy with her fans last night.

 

No, not the 5,000 or so people who showed at the Hollywood and Highland mall in L.A. for Mimi's free concert, but the electric ones responsible for keeping her hair billowing throughout the gig.

 

"My hair keeps sticking to my lipgloss," Carey said at the end of her first number. "You got to turn up the fans!"

 

Carey, who was performing as part of the Samsung AT&T Summer Krush concert series, also had something of a mic problem.

 

"I want my mic stand," she said at one point. "I don’t know what happened to my mic stand."

 

A stagehand quickly popped onstage with a glittering, crystal-covered stand that matched her crystal-covered mic.

 

And what did she bring along for the fans—darn if we'll ever know.

 

"I haven't forgotten to bring my bag of festivities," she said. "I'll be distributing those in a moment."

 

She then walked offstage, but she returned empty-handed!

 

I'm told hubby Nick Cannon was there, but he stayed backstage. His family and friends were given VIP seats overlooking the stage.

 

Which meant a few not-so-VIPs were booted from their chairs.

 

"These seats," a security guard said, "are for Nick Cannon's family."

 

A smidgen of the concert was also broadcast on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, where she was a guest earlier in the evening.

Even with new iTunes peak at #41 on iTunes Pop the song is dying. The impressions are down today - 31.277M.

 

Mariah is working on a new remix recording new vocals (finally).

 

IBLYLT is done for me. It looks like it'll be even a bigger flop than Bye Bye.

 

Radio 1 on UK C-listed it, just like they did with Bye Bye.

 

The next single will be Side Effects or I Stay In Love. They still haven't decided, but at this point it's going to Side Effects:

- the performance

- the remix with Busta which was terrible just like all the remixes this era.

 

She is so stupid and can't realise that at this point the only thing that can save the album is Migrate. Sometimes I can't understand people at the record companies.

 

+ she is starting her second honeymoon. Duh. The first one was while Bye Bye was dying. I don't understand why she even bothers working on a new remix since when they release a single she doesn't support it. I feel like the promotion she did for IBLYLT was without any strategy. Just a few appearances here and there.

TAOM was a very succesful tour. CB wasn't.

About the honey moon. Ok magazine has a picture and said that it's from her 2d honey moon. That's all we know.

don't try to make her look like she has nothing left and no one listens to her music. She had #1 album, #1single, single in Top 20. Like someone said before promotion works when the album is new. She didn't promote it when she had to. I hoped that Teen Choice Awards would help but they didn't. She clearly doesn't care about the success of this album.

Like someone said before promotion works when the album is new. She didn't promote it when she had to.

 

it depends, for example Celine just with a re-run of oprah the album climbed the chart!(and the album was 2 months old by that time)then I dont think the album it is old it came out less than 4 months ago!then outside USA it didnt sell well since the begining

no i didnt mean Europe but the rest of the world, maybe better to say that this album no matter the news singles and the promotion, people dont like it that's why they dont buy it, it is simply.

how can someone know if they'll like something before they buy it. Actually I think the problem is in ''Touch My Body''. It was succesful and all but it was a joke. If I was not a Mariah fan, I would have never bought E=MC2 after listening to this song. It doesn't represent the album the way it has to. People will think that the album is full of Touch My Bodies and it isn't.

In my humble opinion, Hard Candy is a billion times better than E=MC2. No doubt it sold 2.6 millions worldwide 'oney.

I didn't expect you to say something different just because you hate Mariah. It doesn't matter how much it sold. Sales don't mean quality. It's Madonna's worst album ever. You don't like Mariah, I don't like Madonna but the difference between me and you is that when there is something good from an artist that I hate I always admit it.
