when i booked my tickets to the movie (odeon manchester) on the phone, a pre-recorded message about the movie said, that a DVD has been announced to come out in May!

 

so im guessing the info is correct and that we will be getting a dvd soon!

 

im hopeing that we will get the concerts too guys! im sure we will!

Sony Pictures Entertainment reportedly plans to release a DVD and Blu-ray version on April 26,2010, while corporate sibling Sony Music Entertainment is planning a separate CD and DVD release of the actual concert, which was recorded in Boston in mid-August 2008. A French concert, recorded in Montreal two weeks later, is also due to be released at the same time.[15][16][17]

 

The DVD version of Celine: Through the Eyes of the World will last 3 hours.[3][18] The documentary is scheduled to be included as a bonus feature in the upcoming tour DVD.

It was performed on September 31st and August 1st, during the Montreal DVD filming, so it should be on there. In fact, there were only 3 shows where it wasn't performed: February 14th, July 9th and August 16th.

Well if Celine sang IDAN, TC, IACBTMN, ABM and MHWGO 100% live under the playback for the DVD, then I would have thought she would have done TPOL too. Unless she just sang it live in Boston and not Montreal, so they cut it from this tracklisting instead of using the playback.

That cd tracklist looks actually quite nice. Wonderful to have ESINERQU on there! But JIOTI, haven't that song has been overexposed already? What's the deal about it anyway? I think it's qute embarrasing.

 

So the onlye changes I would like to see in the cd track list is JIOTI and the Soul medley - why is that on there, wasn't this Barnev's mini concert? I was hoping that would be cut out from the DVD aswell...

 

Other than that, it looks really good.

I just cant understand why they cut any songs out. its not a true representation of all the concerts that she played. All songs should be included no matter where celine performed them.

Is it me or it seems this is taking forever? If they wanted to make real money they should of released it during Xmas! Lol.
