At least some of you got to see the movie, can you imagine how frustrating it is for us that can't even see the movie.

My friend wasn't able to go to any of the showings. Something always came up with her parents. She was nearly crying.

I saw TTEOTW 2 times! Would have saw it more but i was 2-4 hours from the nearest theater that showed it (Charleston, SC 2/21/2010, Atlanta, Ga. 2/27/2010) Seeing TTEOTW only added fuel to the fire for me wanting a TCWT!! tee he he I hope we get an official date very soon! Hopefully April 26th it will be a release of TCWT/TTEOTW Combo dvd wow what a treat that would be!!

I think if they released movies in america and europe together they would avoid that movies get leaked on the internet and that people download them! I wonder why they still haven't changed that! ? :glare: and as for the cttitw, they should have released it in all the cities - simultaneously! * at least - where Celine performed during the taking chances tour, that would have been fair. :yes:

do you think they will use the same picture on the movie picture for the film? I wonder what pic they will use for the concert DVD cover? im so excited and eager to know now lol Im so hopeing for a live CD alsa!

People seem quite mis-informed about the release of TTEOTW. Half the world gets to see it ... hardly. :blink:

Yes lots of people on the forum have had the chance to see the movie, but many have had to travel really far which isn't cheap. There has also been criticism of Sony and Celine's team which is really not justified. It is up to the cinema chains to show the film or not. Or were some of you expecting your local cinema manager to be held at gunpoint till he agreed to show it.

This is the entertainment industry not the mafia. :wink:

Still I do have sympathy for those who really wanted the chance to see it on the big screen.

so any information on the release of the DVD?? I see lots of info about TTEOTW.. im assuming we are going to have Through the eyes of the world with bonus features.. and then maybe a side release of the TC tour in Boston and or Montreal? They need to release this concert.. the footage used in TTEOTW was amazing and they would be silly not to release the full concert.. anyone know anything?

I think we wont get any news on the 8th.. Bet it's gonna get delayed one more week.

I hope they are delaying giving us the news because they will release it sooner (one can hope, but it'd doubtful)

I still don't get what the big deal with the press release is. According to Sony the DVD will be released on the 26th of April in the USA (and I think the UK) and the 3rd of May in other countries (including SA). :shrug:

from what we have seen here and on the internet; there will be -

Celine Through The Eyes of the World movie on dvd in french and english version

and two releases: the boston concert dvd + cd

and for the French countries - the montreal concert dvd + cd
