Ahead of the press release (which will come tomorrow), CelineDion.nl (with consent of Sony) can confirm:

 

- The "Celine: Through The Eyes of the World" documentairy will indeed be released on DVD at the end of April (23rd/26th). The DVD will include numerous of subtitles (including English, French, German, Dutch, Korean, Japanese etc.) and the documentairy will last 3 hours.

- Mid-May a "deluxe" 2DVD version will be released. At this time a Blu-Ray version will also be released.

- Also in mid-May both the Boston and Montreal concerts will be released on DVD. The English (Boston) concert internationally and the Montreal (French) concert in French speaking countries.

- The live concert DVD CD will either be dropped or confirmed (for mid-May also) in the press release. This was still undecided before the weekend.

-Also for the Polish fans: the documentairy will be screened in Poland about 14 times in May.

 

So yes, a lot that has been posted (like the info from Sony SA) is correct.

Looking at the website CelineDion.nl and i think it means that a live cd hasnt been confirmed and that they were still talking about it before the week end

- There is also a live album of the Taking Chances tour included in Boston. This was at the time of the interview still not confirmed (they were still here to discuss).

 

 

As for the film in the Netherlands: this news is still the same. There is inconclusive whether the film will be screened in the Netherlands. We hope this soon will have more to tell. The site so keep an eye!

Well, as happy that I am with the release news, pending the press release, I'm going to have to save my birthday money to get the documentary and the concert DVD this summer and ask for the Montreal concert for christmas.

The documentary on A New Day is brilliant.

 

I think they could've done more with the AND dvd. They only showed the final year and left out all those songs from 2003-2006 that were taken out before the filming of the dvd and also all the different costumes.

I just hope with this they don't leave out the good stuff on the english version like they did with AND, they Quebec version has the better behind the scene's at home stuff with RC on it. The english one barely has any with him on it.

Ugh, I know. When I saw the Quebec version I was so angry! But at least this already has more behind the scenes than we're used to. I really hope the concerts are similar to the Sur Les Plaines DVD and we get to see everything under the stage, too

I think they could've done so much more with the AND dvd. They only showed the last year, they left out all those songs that were done before Jan 2007. They didn't show how her look and the costomes changed over the 5 years. I loved the show and the extras but was disappointed, would've been great to see how the show evolved in 5 years.

I need to get the Quebec version and SLP but I don't have the money to right now without a job. I was supposed to get SLP as a bday gift last year but didn't.

But I really want the Boston/Montreal concerts in Blu-ray too! But I doubt they'd want to have 8 releases, they already have 6!

 

One thing that is interesting is the deluxe 2DVD edition of TTEOTW. I wonder if we'll get bonus songs on the second DVD! Or maybe an All Access thing like they did with A New Day!

 

I just hope we do get a live CD. They've done this for most of her tours (except FIY). If they do I wonder if they'll have a French and and English version?!
