René Angélil and Stéphane Laporte said yesterday on ''La Presse'' that there will be a 3 hours DVD which will include the full Montreal show, for the French speaking countries and the full Boston show for the rest of the world. They haven't talked about the Live CD nor about the release date though.

The movie shown in theaters is 2 hours long.

The dvd of the movie will last 3 hours, and will be in combo with the Boston concert or the Montreal concert?

That's exact! The 3 hours DVD will be the documentary (movie) and the other DVD will be the concert in its integrity (Montreal concert for French speaking fans / Boston concert for the rest of the world).

exactly the documentry its self was 3 hours but shortened for the cinemas i think as a DVD they will release the full 3 hour DVD instead of the shorter version for the movie theartres

the movie in the cinema is appr 2 hours long. There is 3hours of worldtour footage, but Rene wanted it to be shortened for the Cinema.

That's what we get now- the complete footage of Through The Eyes of the World - that is DVD 1 (3 hours of footage)

DVD2 is concert in Boston

DVD3 is concert in Montreal

 

or sold in two different packages;

- one for the french speaking countries - celine autour du monde + concert montreal

 

- one for the rest of the world - celine through the eyes of the world + concert boston

 

but it is also possible the whole package will be sold together. I don't understand it completely

but either way - we get both concerts, packaged together or not. We can always buy the french concert afterwards.

Sony Music Entertainment will also release two CD+DVD versions, where the DVD and CD contain the live concert and not the movie. These will be released in English and French. The English concert was recorded in Boston on August 12-13, 2008, and the French one in Montreal on August 31-September 1, 2008

but maybe they would release something like collector's edition with 3 dvds both concerts and movie,

then 2 seperate dvd sets for english and french

and then maybe just concert dvd english and french

another one concert CD +DVD french and english

and last CD for english and french

 

that's alot!! that's just what i'm gussing lol

OMD, so excited from the news from "La Presse"... This is a very Celine-ish twenty ten... Also, so hope that I am somewhere on the Boston DVD to be imprinted for eternity..haha

 

I just can't wait. I feel very fortunate to live in a country where I have access to all of these things..(the movie etc). I feel bad for the people in parts of the world that do not have access to all things Celine...(just a sidenote).

When Rene said 3 DVDs do you think he meant 3 discs? I think this would be better:

 

Worldwide release:

-DVD1 - Celine Through The Eyes Of The World

-DVD2 - Live in Boston

-CD - Live in Boston

 

French release:

-DVD1 - Celine autour du monde

-DVD2 - Live a Montreal

-CD - Live a Montreal

 

 

I don't really understand why they want to put both concerts in one release. They would probably fit on one DVD, so I have no clue what the third DVD will be...

Technically, if we take into account the words of the producers of the ANDLILV DVD (I think Stephan Laporte was in that project too), they said the WT DVD would be bigger than the Vegas one, and that they wanted to record everything this time to give us many bonus material . So this time we should have +3 hours only for bonus material... But you know how acts Sony after all

I just remember when I spoke to that Paul dude from SONY SA, he said that the documentary is three hours long, so it just clicked with me that he must think that the one that they are showing in the cinamas is also three hours long because the DVD is three hours long (he said that he saw the DVD).

I would die if they release a deluxe version with a separate disc with just bonus videos. They got 400 hours to work with.

If its 3 hours long, i wonder what the rest of it will be then? The show was about 1 hr 30 ish-what else??? Its too short to include TTEOTW. Do i dare get my hopes up for "extra peformances" like TT,CFTF etc????

It's the documentary on a separate disc. You should hold your breath...there are songs not recorded from Boston and Montreal.

Why are we thinking her vocals in Im Alive arent good? Her vocals have always sounded good to me...is this from the documentary you are referring to?
