Oh, that's great! I can't wait for the DVD! Celine: Through the eyes of the world is just perfect as an extra, I will definitely buy both versions of the DVD when they finally come out!

ok then it makes even more sense only releasing the French concert!

If they do that then only french speaking fans or people that understand french would be able to understand the concert, therefore your leaving out a huge huge part of her fans. :ermm:

True, a lot of people get left out like the sur les plaines dvd or three different AND dvd's with two having better footage on them than the US on. The SLP needed subtitles so non speaking or reading french fans could watch it and know what was going on.

well, it does not matter that much this time because she did not speak that much during the concerts. It is the openingspeech about her son and her mother who's 81 years old ( or 82?) and about not having been in this beautiful country for 10 years, etc. So if there are no subtitles on the French dvd, we have to deal with that. They don't have to make subtitles for the french songs as far as i am concerned ;-)

But I am definately gonna buy both! I hope there is also a version without the Through The Eyes.. movie, because having it 2 times.. and the French one without subtitles, I will probably not watch that one ;-)

I'm going to buy the English and French DVDs, then I'll rip both and put together all the songs from the English and French concerts on one DVD so when I show my parents the DVD they will have to see all the songs they recorded!! :shifty:

Hi everyone...I´m back again because I want to clarify something. I´ve said yesterday that will be 2 double DVDs...one with the Montreal concert and one with the Boston concert. The one with the Montreal concert will be released in french-speaking countries and the other one all over the world. So, you know very well the setlists for the two concerts and the songs like ¨The power of love¨ or ¨All by myself¨ will be present on both DVDs...and if someone who loves Celine wants to buy both, there´s no problem, but you have to think that the french dvd is not for the american or english market. And the french fans have the right to have the concert like it was...
Until today the release date remains in may but it could be earlier too ( the dvds are ready), but have to wait for the promotion of ¨Through the eyes...¨. After the Sony team will end the promotions, the release date will be announce. Have a nice day....

And we finally got some real information. And surprise, surprise we got it from a new member and not from somebody who always claims to have the best sources :rolleyes:

indeed! Everyone in here wants to inform as best he or she can. And I am glad we have all these great people in here.

Thanks to them , we know about Celine on Oprah and the contest to get in her audience, a possible dvdrelease, lots of photos of Celine in NY etcetera!

What is confirmed at this point? There are no new threads when something is confirmed here, it's just the same old thread with speculations. Are we getting a World Tour DVD and Celine Through The Eyes of The World? Or is the movie documentary a replacement for the WT DVD all together?

From the info we have been given we can assume there will be 2 DVD releases:

-TTEOTW + Boston concert (2DVD)

-Autour du monde + Montreal concert (2DVD)

i hope we get those 2 dvd's... and some new behind the scenes

outtakes, other songs she sang, maybe not filmed in the best way but i dont care.

I would love to see ANDHC, TJTWIM etc
