I wonder if we'll get an option to watch something similar to the Sur Les Plaines DVD showing all of the quick changes along with the concert. I always wondered what was going on..."and even...under the stage."

 

That there may very well be why the 3 disc theory. We very may well have:

Disc 1: TTEOTW (3 hr edition)

Disc 2: Boston Concert w/ Behind The Scenes (Dressing Room, Quick Changes, etc.)

Disc 3: Montreal Concert w/ Behind The Scenes (Dressing Room, Quick Changes, etc.)

I don't know for sure what they're talking about but I can only imagine they mean the version on the DVD of A New Day...? I just watched it (from the backstage point of view) the other day and was thinking how "squeaky" she sounded during that number. I am right?

Yes guys, I won't get my hopes up for a combined Montreal and Boston package, really don't think that's ever going to happen . Otherwise I'll be very surprised. As much as we want it, it doesn't make sense to release two concerts of one tour in the same country (unless you live in Canada, where they will probably release Montreal (french area) and Boston (English area))

 

I have no doubt though that you can get your hands on the other DVD too .

And the "Minnie Mouse" version of LCMM is supposedly the performance from the World Music Awards 2004. Apparently after that show she went to hospital because some of allergic reaction? I don't know for sure, just trying to recall. I didn't think that performance was bad.

 

Also, has there been an official English tracklist provided? The only one I saw was for the french concerts, and members speculating about the Boston concert dvd/cd.

I've actually been thinking...the way they've done things with the tour DVD (as frustrated as we've gotten waiting for it) is very smart. Remember, TTEOTW was not originally intended to be released as a film. They were probably planning on releasing the tour DVDs for Montreal and Boston and it got pushed back due to TTEOTW. Now...they would not have had Celine do ANY promotion for the dvd release. They would have just put it out and said "here fans, buy me" Now...Celine is doing a HUGE promotional blitz for this movie appearing everywhere. Oprah, PEOPLE...also ET and Access Hollywood have done segments on Celine and the upcoming movie. So, they are trying to appeal to not only the fans, but the general public with Through The Eyes Of The World...they will then release TTEOTW along WITH the Tour DVD and with this package...it's quite possible that more than just the die hard fans will buy it after seeing the movie. I think this marketing scheme is VERY smart.

I love the idea of there being three DVDs, or two DVDs (one having both concerts and the other having TTEOTW). I had a Céline-filled Christmas, and now I get to have a Céline-filled birthday for the next two years!!!!

I'm thinking it would make most sence for Sony to release 2 separate DVD's with the Boston and Montreal concert in different dvd's. That way they make most money and piss us off

No, no, no! The "Minnie Mouse" version is that terrible Live 8 performance where it sounds like she is trying to attempt every verse in whistle register. BLAH!

and she got booed when they announced her name cos she wasn't there in person and they all said she was just interested in promoting her show- her's was the only performance that didn't make the dvd set of Live 8

Also it was the end of January, and all the judges go away after the X Factor finishes in December. Just thought I would share that! He must be a massive fan

Honestly i don't care how they release it! As long as there IS a release of the full TCWT dvd (Live from Boston/Montreal) I mean i am estacic about TTEOTW but i really want a full concert dvd release more! It kinda scares me there will not be one because with Celine promoting on Oprah for TTEOTW and articles printed lately there is mention of the movie and Vegas show but no TCWT dvd!!!

Ok so my point is.... at some point in time on Wikipedia there was talk of a TCWT dvd in the works live from Boston/Monteral plus behind the scenes footage.... Did the behind the scenes footage result in TTEOTW replacing a release of TCWT just like they did with Madonna a few years back with her documentary from her world tour but with no release of the actual tour? If u go on Wikipedia now there is no mention of a TCWT dvd only of TTEOTW..... What does all this mean? I pray for a release of a TCWT dvd release but only time will tell at this point being that TTEOTW wasn't initionally the plan even Celine said that. Fingers crossed! I hope we get an offical answer soon!

at least that is what I heard..) on wikipedia.. anyway, I have that madonna dvd too and I still miss a official dvd of that tour (reinvention tour)

and I think it will never be released. Since I went to that tour I would love to have it.
