I’m pretty sure it has to do with copyright. Those music videos have movie clips in them which as not authorized to be broadcast on public platforms like YouTube

This is not from the Blond DVD. This performance of ''If I Could'' was filmed for the Jerry Lewis Telethon back in 2003. In the unreleased Blond DVD Celine had bleached blonde hair :

as you can you see, this is the exact same hairdo as in the pro-shot performance of EJTAE which was taken from the unreleased DVD (I live in Quebec and back then the press said that this performance was taken from the then forthcoming DVD meant to be released in late 2004 :

I totally agree. For me, this is definitely the worst hair style of her entire career. In addition, she is wearing this totally awkward outfit, which makes her whole appearence weird as hell. I will never understand why they allowed her to go on stage like this, and I will never understand why Celine agreed to look like that. She did ineed look pretty in the speaking segment prior. She should have kept that look and that red outfit and everything would be fine. I'm glad they revamped the show and her look one year later. She looked horrible. I really love the quality of how they recorded the sounds in A New Day. It’s sounds so professional. Even though the quality of the clip is bad but still you can hear how great the sound was back in that era. Who is the sound guy here?

One was a direct feed for a live stream. The other was fully mixed and mastered and intended for a release. That’s the difference.

Okay I get you but then it's a shame that they didn't made an agreement where they are able to show/upload the music videos on her official channel. Compared to other artists like Mariah or Whitney, this makes her channel look strange, unfinished and not professional. EJTAE was most definitely live. I’m a bit shocked nobody mentioned Seduces Me climax being lipped. By that I mean the part starting with “and if I should die tomorrow”, ending with “I’d fall down on my knees for the love we’ve made”. Earliest recording with that track being used is April 17, 2005. I have some 2005 bootlegs that were recently posted in multimedia.

I prefer Opening night over the 2004 bootleg posted here. I think her tone was best in 2006. I’d like to here an RDMH performance from late 06 but not sure that exists.

Did you guys also notice her extremely weird mannerisms during the very first run of AND? Also very visible in this perfeormance. It's like she is sick, scared or confused. Was this supposed to be part of the show (theatrical?)? Was she supposed to play a weirded out and confused character? Each time I see the clips I cannot help but wonder why they unnecessarily made that show ridiculous and quite weird. I'm so glad that they changed this entire concept by 2007. A New Day… was a breathtaking beautiful show… the DVD didn’t do the show justice AT ALL. The DVD had a hard time capturing the 3D aspect of the show. We can debate the setlist, the looks etc. but the stage concepts,lighting, the whole art of that show was beautiful in person.

I really dislike AND, but then I'm not a fan of Cirque du Soleil, either. I saw the show in person and found it completely absurd, over-the-top, ridiculous, gauche, and I just wanted all the insanity to go away so I could see a Céline show. There were a couple of times when I was on the verge of a giggle fit over how abjectly crazy the whole thing was.

 

Of course it was hugely successful and a good match for Vegas, so my opinion is fairly irrelevant. But I MUCH preferred the second residency.

Said that many times before... but they should have had a multiple angle feature on the dvd. The show was directed on the DVD as a Céline Dion concert... not as the amazing visual Cirque show that is was.

I think the hair just made her look a little crazy lol. She’s always had exaggerated movements.

I think it was just the pressure of such an expensive show riding on her shoulders. So she was overcompensating a bit at the beginning.

 

Fortunately, by the time they filmed it again in 2007, she calmed down a bit and the show was much more like a Céline concert with Cirque elements.

 

If you look at the footage of Celine when she first met the dancers, and she still had her long brown hair tied back in a ponytail, she was so grounded.

 

I can’t imagine the amount of pressure that was on her by the time the show launched. And we all know she wanted out of it before it began.

Celine had strange hairstyles throughout her career, I still don't understand who chose it, whether it was her or her hairdresser.
