A fan of Mimmers on YouTube claims that Celion would refuse to perform unless the seats left empty by fans were filled by Caesar's with its employees.

And she says she's NOT jealous of Celine!!!!

I think she is!!!!

Maybe she's not but her fans sure are! LOL mimi has enough probs of her own right now with a cd that's been pushed twice, a first single that got lukewarm reviews, she got trashed by eminem, and 2 recent live performances that were less than stellar.

What does Mariah's album and her recent appearences have to do with anything? This was a fan of Mariah claiming this, not Mariah herself. Some delusional fan of hers does not represent her. Geez. Anyway, the fan's comment was ridiculous and can't be proven.

About the show, I had a feeling it would be pushed to 2011. There would be no way it could debut in 2010 because they need time to rehearse, get dates together, and set up the premiere. Things like this take a lot of time.

Why? Las Vegas is the only thing an artist can do? She could spend MORE time doing her albuns, maybe get some interest of how they are produced, being more envolved. Some shows here and there, maybe some feat. in movies... There are too many things to do as an artist and I'm sure it would be more pleasure than sing to a lot of people who doesn't really are her fans.

For me it's not confirmed till they come in public and say that Vegas will really happen. And "the point" is only opinions.

I completly see stability of NOT DOING VEGAS. She could do just what she really wanted. A new album? Ok. A new promotion? Nice. NOTHING? Great! And that's it.

I hate Vegas. Bad voice, bad health, no time for anything...

The only thing I didn't like about Vegas was that after 2003 Celine's voice turned so nasally! Her voice was terrible on the A New Day CD and it's still nasally now after the tour. Even if her voice was "nasally" it was still better than anyone else's voice! I think she enjoyed Vegas because of the stability as stated above and she had that comfort zone she has talked so often about, being comfortable as an artist in the songs and moves and what was going on every night. I believe Céline really grew from the Vegas experience. She became even more of an entertainer because that comfort zone allowed her to experiment even more and be relaxed at the same time if that makes sense. So it doesn't matter where she decides to go next, whether it be Vegas or Montreal or New Zealand haha. Vegas just has more potential to support a show like hers so that it is successful because of the amount of people passing through and those people are willing to go out to a show like hers.

We all want Céline to be happy and to have that comfort zone and stability while raising her precious ones because that is the most important thing. But Céline loves to perform and while she likes recording albums and things like that, Céline is an ENTERTAINER. She feeds off of the crowd, she loves the one on one with the screaming fan (like me rofl). That gets her PUMPED and makes it worthwhile You can tell how excited she gets when she is on that stage and you yell at her and dance with her and go crazy with her crazy dance moves. I think that was another reason she loved Vegas and the tour so much. She truly loves her fans and getting to be with them every night was special to her. It keeps her going!

Whatever she does, wherever she does it, she will do the right thing for her at that moment, and we will all be there to make her go crazy on stage!

The change in her voice due to Vegas is evident, but she sounded fine on tour. Her voice has become more higher and nasally thanks to Vegas, but it's still fine. With the rest it will hopefully become ven better.

WEll it's topical because I was commenting on what was written. Now I see your avatar and ur obviously a big Mariah fan, so no offense meant, just stating the facts.

We have to face facts though, it gonna be tough for Celine to put out a studio album of brand new material and have a big hit. TC was a great piece of work and Celine promoted it, she went on many shows and still radio in the US was NOT warm to it - even the AC stations let her down. She'd probably have to do a concept album like Streisand did with the Broadway album, Rod Stewart did with the oldies, Barry Manilow, Natalie Cole...etc. They all had huge albums doing something totally different when their recording careers have stalled. I have no idea what she'd do though, I mean she could sing anything but it's the public perception at this point that will make it a hit or not. I think time away will do her good.

:doh: Guys, it's not about Céline doing another Las Vegas or if not she has to tour again "yes or yes". Why can't you think of Céline not going back to Las Vegas again and neither touring, just promoting her music and singing in TV shows or doing small concerts from time to time?? :thumbsup2:

How were things before Las Vegas when she wasn't touring all the time? She had plenty of time to spend on her family and promoting her music, something that Las Vegas didn't let her do :wink: (well, she could barely promote neither her music nor any other projects like doing movies!).

It's all much better without another Las Vegas, for sure :yes: , not only for her career, but for herself because she would have plenty of time to dedicate to her family.

Agree. It changed her voice, and ruined the promo of all her albums because she didn't have the time to promote them properly.

The only thing I didn't like about Vegas was that after 2003 Celine's voice turned so nasally! Her voice was terrible on the A New Day CD and it's still nasally now after the tour. I hope when Celine returns after she has her baby, her voice will sound great again like it did when she returned in 2002...

Her voice changed after 2003. In 2005 her voice was far close to the voice we could listen on the ANDHC CD. That's because she had her voice rested to record an album . So IMHO, I think she needs not to sing for a long time, and took again her vocal exercises to warm up some time before recording an album. She stop doing those exercises since 2002 :shrug: .

It's agree with that. Her voice became higher and nasal with Vegas, but now it sounds better than it did between 2004-2006. My God, I'm sure she realized that that stupid Vegas schedule was ruining her voice, she was so tired many times! :doh:

As I remember it Céline really didn't have plenty of time in the 90's, she was touring all the time and working, working, working SO much. Céilne's life = work only. She didn't have anytime to spend really on family, she had such few moments for a private life. At the time she was younger and she was building her carreer and living for her vocal cords as she recounts sometimes and it's true. English and French cds, doing promotion for both, touring, other cds, more promoting and touring again and promoting at the same time.....and she didn't talk for days in between...I've witnessed it and I don't feel she should ever work in the future at this paste...EVER. Eventhough she loves it, touring is very much demanding now that she has a family of her own. Doing a movie or Vegas would provide her more time for familiy imo. Anyway we'll see what the future brings.

2. Still nasally after the tour? Did Celine do a private show especially for u? Because as far as I know, except Star Ac where her voice was fine, she hasn't do anything! So tell us , share your experience : where did u hear Celine's actual voice.

I think he means the ANDHC era, before Vegas but after the crazy 90's schedule.
