I don't know but I have a feeling this Vegas thing is not gonna happen... so soon in anyway... Or maybe it is just me hoping that she does something else first...

haha okay, my only comment on the whole celine lipsynching thing.. even if she does it, its still an amazing show. And i'm sure that if your sitting in the audience, your gonna be thinking "yepp shes lipsynching.". Your gonna be going "holy mother of all that is good and pure, THAT is CELINE DION".

YES! When I saw the show, it was just so amazing that I didn't notice the lipping at all. I mean, the songs she sang live, like LCMM, just were so powerful and rallying that nothing else mattered. What's more is, the tracks all cut in part way through the song, once the audience was already in the trance of her amazing live voice. I couldn't care less that part of it was just show. It it may have been the most exhilorating night of my life.

I kinda hope that she'll be back in Vegas, and not have the baby. But on the other hand i still want what's best for Céline, and i know that the second baby would make her really, really happy.. So this is pretty ironic

but there's one BUT... vegas is on the other side of the Earth of where i'm living and it'll cost about 4960395839883454309 Euros to fly there! :down:

....how do we not have confirmation when Rene said himself she would be coming back. Even before that there was months of rumors. Between that, the comments Rene makes, the comments Barnev makes, the information Darren has gave us...it's MORE then confirmed.

....how do we not have confirmation when Rene said himself she would be coming back. Even before that there was months of rumors. Between that, the comments Rene makes, the comments Barnev makes, the information Darren has gave us...it's MORE then confirmed.

It's not confirmed til she sings the first line, I think! Hahahaha!

Last time she didn't want to, remember, because she had Rene Charles, but they were too far into the process of Vegas. If she gets pregnate, and nothing is planned as we see it now, then who's to say the operation wont be shut off, if it is on at all?

If she gets pregnate, I think Vegas will be put off for some time. I definantly hope so, anyway.

I can't wait for the new vegas shows, I literally cannot wait to see her in Vegas again, when I saw her in 2007 it was AMAZING. I still wish she would do another tour but hey at least she is doing shows :clap:

Yes, of course. The only time we ever get anything else besides those two is on the Europe leg of a tour we'll get a few performances of Think Twice.

I don't mean to be a negative-nancy here, but those two songs (LCMM, TPOL) have had more then enough time. TPOL can potentially still be good if it wasn't the same playback since 1994. I have not watched any performances of LCMM from the last tour, but if they're anything like the Vegas DVD, then...oh my. That song is fun when performed right, but when it's half talking and a bunch of weird things happening, it's just a bit annoying and embarrassing. Why not introduce Declaration Of Love in the place of LCMM? It's the same type of song (which is why it makes no sense that DOL was lipped during it's tour).

The main point I'm getting at is there are more then 20 songs she has recorded. But nobody would ever know that based on watching videos of the last three tours.

I totally agree! And I hope the setlist WILL change and she'll sing more songs that hrdly ver (if at all) appeared during her last Vegas stay and the TC tour... more newer songs hopefully, from TC and D'Elles.

I think so too. It sounds much better without that rap crap (or whatever that was) that they performed in Vegas. And Celine loves performing that song, so I have a feeling we did not see the last of it...

Everybody is always complaining about the set list (and I'm not just talking about Celine). I'm also guilty. Has it ever occur to some of you that it might not be easy for Celine and her team to chooce songs for a tour/show. Which songs do they include to please everyone? I mean if they choose some of her more unfimiliar and newer songs (that we want to hear) and leave out TPOL, MHWGO, IACBTMN, TLYM, LCMM, IDAN and BYLM, 90% of people is going to be very dissapointed and complain. I bet Celine is just as tired of including these songs (sometimes I wonder if that is not part of the reason why she lips some of them) in the set list as we are of hearing them. But these are the songs 90% of people want to hear...

That said. There is a part of me that wishes that if Celine does go back to Vegas that she and her team really uses this time to come up with something fresh and new. If they have to include these songs, change them and give them new life... Imagine her singing a part of MHWGO a capella like ML... Or singing it with only the piano... or something like that... And best of all: everyone is happy.

But I would really love for Celine to do something else before she goes back to Vegas... Like the Maria Callas movie. Whatever happened to that? Anybody knows?

I also agree, ALOT. haha!

Take my sisters for example. They like Celine, one of them was super excited and went on the tour with me. She likes alot of Celine's songs, but she wants to hear IACBTMN, LCMM, TLYM, POL, IDAN, etc. Those are the ones she knows by heart, they are signature Celine songs, or have become, and there is no way in hell that MHWGO will stop being performed, as that, no matter how much people are annoyed by it, is Celine's signature english song.

I think Rene said that Celine won't be doing the Callas movie, but I could be wrong.

As for Vegas, i'm not exactly thrilled but I agree that if they do like stripped down versions of the old songs, people will be happy. I also think that the only two songs Celine "needs" to include in her setlist are My Heart Will Go On and Because You Loved Me. Those are her two biggest international English hits. It's All Coming Back to Me Now and To Love You More, sure some will complain but there won't be a huge outcry over it. They aren't as big as her other songs. And TPOL was big too but not as big. Let's just bring some life into the setlist! It gets boring watching the same kinds of performances over and over. Maybe the team will take a hint at how well received the new I'm Alive was.

I agree with what Claudette is saying...make the "majority" of the people happy, and unfortunately, the super fans like us are not the majority. But I agree with what Lymon is saying too: MHWGO and BYLM are the only songs absolutely 100% necessary.

Songs like Where Does My Heart Beat Now, Beauty And The Beast, and If You Asked Me To were hits just as much as To Love You More, It's All Coming Back To Me Now, and The Power Of Love.

When you replace TPOL, IACBTMN, and TLYM with BATB, WDMHBN, and IYAMT...remove a few covers (example: Man's World, World On String, I Wish, etc those songs..) you can add in others like Calling You, Only One Road, Nothing Broken But My Heart....These songs may not be big hits by Celine (but they are still somewhat well known and popular by her, and surely more popular then IAMW, IGTWOAS, IW). A fan is more likely to come to the show if there favorite song, say Only One Road, is being performed...then they are if they hear a new cover, say It's A Man's World...is being performed and has a few high notes....(although I personally prefer IAMW, think about the average fan: they are more likely to be familar with an old hit from her prime time then they are a cover).

Or instead of addings those you can just choose not to remove TPOL or IACBTMN or TLYM....

There are plenty of options they have with the set list. But when you look at the FINAL vegas set list, and compare it to the tour set list....you swapped out a few covers and replaced them with a LARGE amount of covers...you replaced ANDHC/SeducesMe with I'm Your Angel/The Prayer. That's about it. Oh, and they added a few songs from the TC album (which they should have).

i wish she sings all new songs like from her later albums and yes we want a new celine why she always say i'm the same celine but trying some diff styles a real artist always changes and i'm not talking only about the album stuff no she cant do albums and keep throwing them away and still sings the same old songs please we had enogh of the old songs just sing new songs all the time and we will listen celine we will love them dont be afraid trying to do that i wish i could talk to her and tell her please be new, sing new shock us, trust us and try in us no problem but just stop singing the same old songs live forget about my heart will go on u can make a new hit but thats over ohhhhh god i waned to say that along time ago i wish she listens fans please be with me on that how can we tell her that its a must for the sak of her career
