Celine's comeback to Las Vegas - March 2011

Hmm, maybe if we reserve for the forum members all the front rows, we would have taken up perhaps more than 10 rows? Haha! =D still, it would be cool!

 

I doubt if it would be possible for the opening show... Don't know how much invited people there will be but i'm sure it will be much

When I got a refund on Céline's AND tickets when she was ill in nov 2006, I had to pay an administration fee! so maybe they will do this again... I don't think we have to feel sorry for AEG!

I honestly really don't want her to go back to vegas cos it's a very exhausting job and singers must not always sing. If she'll be on las vegas, how can she promote well if she's gonna release albums?

yes it can be very exhausting singing live! but when I listen to my dvd of vegas I don't hear much live..it seems prerecorded..that is why I don't watch that dvd often. Hope the taking chancestour dvd won't have polished or auto-tuned voice. I want a real life dvd !

That's not true.

 

TLYM, IDAN, MHWGO, IACBTMN, IW, AA are fully pre-recorded, while TPOL, IS, and IGTWOAS are partially pre-recorded.

 

And I'm still skeptical about RDMH. May have been live for the tour, but when I compare the DVD to the March 2nd bootleg it's identical except in 1 spot.

 

The main reason why some of us are against Vegas is because during the tour it was always the fans seeing the show, and while there are still fans seeing her show in Vegas, it's ALOT of people who are just there vacationing and wanting to see the hottest show in town.... doing that same thing night after night molds you into something where there is no point in even singing live. Why? Because less people will care, or for that matter find out.

Celine should not go back to Vegas.. Absolutely!! She lost a lot of her popularity in 5 years.. I certainly don't want to she imprison herself there again.

Her voice changed a bit in Vegas, the climate is bad for it. That is the main reason why I don't want Celine back in Vegas, followed by her popularity decline with her being seen as a one trick pony, and then with her happiness, I keep hearing stories of how Celine wasn't extremely happy in Vegas. Well, I'd say RDMH has always been always live. It's unlike Celine to switch from a playback to live like that.

 

And I never knew AA was playback? Was it always lipped or did they introduce the vocal track later as Celine was finding it hard to sing?

 

And I don't really consider IS or IGTWOAS playback because the actual parts Celine lips are very short, where as I'd consider TPOL fully pre-recorded as it's everything but the first verse.

I was thinking today if we can reserve the Pure, I think we should do some karaoke and sing her songs and of course invite celine and the crew.To show her MUCH we Love Her. That would be one great night for all.

Lol, he did that on purpose to make it look like it was live. I remember everyone on the forum poking fun at that scene at how hard they're trying to make it look like something that isn't live actually is.

 

And I'm not 100% sure, but I thought I Surrender was completely lipped up until the "right here...right now". If you are saying it was only the two 7 second notes and the one 12 second one, that wouldn't make sense that she would do the 15 second one live at the end. I'm quite sure the first 2/3 of it is lipped.

I'm hoping for a refreshed set list. Everything pre FIY is forgotten about except LCMM and TPOL. Which are the two songs that I think everyone is completely tired of seeing more then any other, lol.

 

I'd love to see Unison, The Last To Know, Where Does My Heart Beat Now, If You Asked me To, Only One Road, Nothing Broken But My Heart.....these are just a few of the songs she could have from those three albumbs that everyone would LOVE to hear again...

 

Get rid of TLYM and IACBTMN, sing BYLM in full. And then make the medley be three of those songs.

 

Although it was nice to see songs like RDMH, All The Way, and Seduces Me brought back to life.

It was the funniest thing.

 

It was when she was singing Fever and she was supposed to do some moves down the stage with 4 dancers around her and she didn´t sing.. but she did the moves.. and the dancers around her kept on dancing.

 

I had seen the show 4 times before so I know this wasn´t a part of the show and she suddently began talking that she forgot the lyrics and was laughing a lot. The dancers were laughing around her while doing the moves they were supposed to.

 

Then for the last two lines I think, she began singin again

 

One of my favorite moments, along with her loosing her shoes
