I don’t think the arrangement was bad. Sounds like they added some live elements on top of the album track. The YouTube video certainly has terrible sound quality though, so it muffles A LOT of the song. She did mention the interview that she had a cold though, I believe.

I havent heard it in a while but i dont ever remember thinking that.

 

Now Seduces Me on Rosie is terrible simply because she sounds nasally in all the SM performances. I dont like any of them except maybe the montreal 1996 performance.

Gave it a listen, interesting when he talked about how it was written as an 8 bar waltz and he was contacted saying it didn’t work, next thing he knows it was made into a mid tempo track. Do we know if Celine actually recorded two versions of the song as he kind of implied that she did when I was always under the impression that the original vocals were just altered in studio to suit the faster track.

I think she didn't re recorded... they just speeded up her vocals..

It’s just a remix. Ric Wake just reworked the vocal a bit for the arrangement.

Thanks for reply guys, that’s what I always thought because to be honest the vocals do sound a bit engineered.

 

I always loved the song though, both versions actually and would’ve loved to have heard her doing this one live, she never did any time I’ve seen her but I think it’s a song that she’s struggled with unfortunately in her more recent live attempts at it, especially the acoustic medley version from Vegas and the 2018 Asian tour.

That’s probably a mistake from the website, as I remember it includes the long version, which btw remains unavailable on streaming platforms!

I’ve noticed that any time it’s a 16-track disc, they used the extended version vs short one on the 17-track (except the very first original US release)

 

It’s like they can’t fit it all in one CD

The 17 tracks is 72 minutes so there is 8 min left for the extended version so i don't think its the reason lol

You are right... Discogs states that the North American Collector's Edition (CD+DVD) has the normal album version. I should have checked that too yesterday... because I listened to that disc just now and it also has the longer version! lol. I will change the info on Discogs!

Basically every release has Super Love on it except for the US and Canadian editions.
