That's half the problem. I LOVE the song, but as mentioned before I love anything Celine touches. Its one of those songs you won't know until you release.......but hey it's in second place for fans voting for the next single just behind "Fade away" --so ppl do like it! I personally think "Shadow of Love" Has Europe SMASH written all over it.....hopefully it'll be released down the road. Quote

TWINQUIN Posted December 7, 2007 at 10:31 AM Posted December 7, 2007 at 10:31 AM i personally not sure about the release of eyes on me in the uk... it mite do well it mite not.. i lke the song its catchy and gts stuck in ur head but the uk press are constantly dissing celine no matter what she does sometimes i think it would be better for them to release a single more close to old celine stlye as when she tries to be modern they are like what is celine doing? not meaning to be negative cos i suport all that celine does, but i sometimes wonder if the uk market just prefer celine to be celine..all her top 5 hits are classic what everyone thinks are celine songs.. so a song like fade away which is slighty rockey bot not too distant to old stlye i think wld do well!! but who is to say only time will tell and ill still buy the single no matter what it is. Yea, it's a wild card, and even though it has this Shakira wannabe sound it's still taking more chances that that horrible single choice Alone. Glad it was released in the states - they wont play her anyway. Too bad she promotes it so frequently, when it's no use. It seems the Céline team is afraid of actually releasing a hit single - like it would mean more job for them, or something, I don't know what goes through their mind. And yea we have asked for EOM to be single, so we shouldn't complain that it is released, however the timing is not so good - it's a summer track, and summer can't be farther away in Europe than in January... /fred Quote Peace and love to all.
