"Eyes On Me" to be second single in UK!

I'm hoping this cover is the official one! Its funny because, if you look back at possible covers for this single that a few of us did last week, its very close to the one i did. lol.

And even funnier again, this photo of celine I got printed off in good glossy quality and got it signed by her in london when she was here in October. I showed zorba (celines assistant) the photo and said its my favourite and it would make a great cover for ''eyes on me'', if it was ever released...zorba and the assistants thought it was a great idea and to tell Celine that when she signed it.

celine looked at me and said hmmm and smiled when I told her, so I hope its the final cover.....lol

 

Just gonna contact sony to find out more

Shaun, will I be a spoilsport if I tell you they actually planned a physical single release of TCH, as well? The printed and cancelled singles are still there available for purchase on ebay.co.uk!

I know that Seb, but my point was that they did indeed cancel it. Surely it would've been more sensible for them to just ship the "Taking Chances" singles to store and see what happened instead of letting them gather dust in some warehouse somewhere? Who's to say the same wont happen with "Eyes On Me"?

I hope the single is a hit and gives the album some promo as seen as no tv ads etc are seen for it even in the run up to christmas! Sony could have pushed a ballad this month as christmas is a huge time in the UK for single releases, of course for the christmas no1 world to believe in would have been a good choice

Oh I hope it gets a really big stomper of a remix cos as it is, I think it's not big enough to be a hit...I personally love the song and while I know the Uk will laugh at her and say- go back to MHWGO- it could still be big if it was remixed into something really different. Love the cover- I hope it's released physically.

Uhm, that would be one bad choice. Just think about it....almost every radiostations have Xmas songs in heavy rotation. Releasing a new single during this period is commercial suicide.

i got the TCH single from ebay and cant wait for EYES ON ME but wonder what happened to ALONE being the next single?

 

 

i have to say that sony uk havent been doing a good enough job since ONE HEART i had to search ebay for I DOVE AND ONE HEART singles and then they had the cheek to relese them both together on 1 cd single.

 

 

i so hope that they relese a physical 2 cd set of eyes on me with great remixes ie, cascada mix,freemasons mix, etc

 

and lets hope they continue to give the uk fans the rest of the cd singles in a physical 2 cd format i miss the going to get them and the excitment of not knowing exactly what will be on there just like the past A NEW DAY backwards through all the other albums.

i have just downloaded a few other tracks by ashanti boyz ie jlo and christina and having listened to them i wouldnt expect to much from the remix........i still think that shadow of love and fade away would make great singles and the remix value would be great if done by the right people.xx
