"Eyes On Me" to be second single in UK!

I dont profess to be any expert but its gonna be the song that Celines voice sounds most annoying in and anyone who doesnt like her will hate this.

 

Not many people I know like this one when I played it and even I think that

 

1) It is too long - should end at the last "say yeah" feels like they ran out of ideas for the end

2) Production is too weak - too much like I'm Alive - needs beefed up with some better beats

3) Celine is too shrill when she sings it

4) Anyone could sing it I dont think it should be a single for the best voice in the world

 

I wouldnt.......

 

 

However I hope I am wrong and will do all i can to help it become a hit

i agee that its to long and at the end very repeatitive, plus they took out that wicked long note that was in the demo....

it def needs a remix, and a modern sexy video, with a breakdown in the middle with dancers

 

btw: didnt someone say she sung it live at ''An audience with''?

Fantastic move! Whether or not you actually like the song there's no doubting it is "single material." I totally back Sony UK on this one and think it's a brave, fantastic and, most importantly, correct decision. I can't wait to see how this does at radio and in the charts.

 

At least the start of the song immediately catches you and you wouldn't think it was Celine, whereas the start of "Taking Chances" could've been any other single Celine has released in the past.

i think it is very good choice as a single, best single from album maybe, but it REALLY needs new BEATS, remember? I alive radio version was cooler that poor album version, so i mean something like that

Darren, you need to contact sony and tell themthat they are making a huge mistake. Alone should be the next single. This is going to be a disaster, please you need to contact them, everyone i speak to hate eyes on me. I loved they chose Eyes On Me but I just can't understand why in UK! I mean, if they want to release a single only in UK, it should be Alone. Don't get me wrong, I don't want Alone to be a global single, but if it's only in UK, why not choose a song that people wants to listen? UK press doesn't like her. I don't know if it's a good choice FOR UK.

EOM should do well coz it is a very cool and unexpected thing from Celine

 

For those who are supporting Alone...I would say that I want Celine to be successful out of the covers and the safe materials , and if she made No:1 with alone , I would not be as happy as making a high position with EOM .

This song will definately mean 'new Celine' and I think that's what's important- if that's the idea they're pushing for the album. It'll get criticised majorly in the UK (just because it's the UK) but that doesn't matter- I think it'll get airplay because it really is like- "no way, that can't be Celine Dion...".Bold and brave move...the 3rd single will be powerhouse Celine of course.

 

I'm happy with EOM- interesting to see what happens!

I think this is the worst choice they could have made as a second single.

I personally don´t like EOM at all , and everybody I played it to didn´t like it either.

 

This song is not representative of the album at all - to me it is like an alien on the whole record.

 

They should have picked something that also attracts the "older" fanbase - something like "Shadow of Love" or even "Alone". Or my personal favourite "Fade away".

 

I think they make a big big mistake here - a very weak song that didn´t even make on a Delta Goodrem-Album as an album track will definitely not help Celine raising attention for her great great album.
