Where is the metaphor with the skies of Los Angeles?

What does mean this song?

Is the first time that I can't understand a Céline's song.

 

But, I like the music and the arrangements of this song, my problem is the lyrics.

 

I think it's about the future being as cloudy and unexpectable like the skies of L.A.... So cloudy that you can't see through it and don't know what's about to come...

 

For me actually quite sad, depressing song but VERY beautiful!!

Of couse! Time goes by and it's not the same. It was before... now a balad, specially from Celine, can be a BIG HIT. She needs to show the edgy part of the album. I prefer Fade Away too, but between EOM and A, I prefer a thousand times EOM as single.

I'd rather that they release FA now instead of this song which I think can go either way. Celine can't depend that much on AC radio stations this holiday season so obviously she needs a lot of support from the pop format. FA is a safer option than EOM. Hyping the Ne-Yo thing could also work but it looks like FA is the surest bet.

I agree that EOM can be a hit in Europe, but I'm sure it would be a flop in US and in other part of the world.

I believe Surprise Surprise and Fade Away are good choices!

First of all OHMYGOD stop it with the shortening of the song titles, it´s getting out of control by now; I saw someone above referring to Alone as "A"... how lazy can you be? if you do IACBTMN, OK that's ONE thing, it's a known song, the title is long, and we all recognize those letters. It´s all good... but A????? freaking A? Do you think you're helping your readers? you are not, you're just showing you're lazy and you're writing mostly for yourself and not for others to read your post, bc otherwise you'll be more practical for US. And I don't mean just for whomever wrote A, I mean it for all the acronism addicted people on the board.

First of all, calm down bud. I think you should think twice before write something like that. Is not so hard to respect another member...

 

And we were talking about ALONE (is good for you? can you understand this now?) or EYES ON ME (better?) as a second single. So, what can the A be on a phrase like "I prefer EOM than A as single". Let me think... maybe this "A" could mean... Alive? Do we have a song like that on the album? No. So, don't be so lazy, just think a little sometimes.

To end the guessing. What are the three songs printed on the cover of the TC CD. Those are the songs that will be promoted. C'est pas difficile.

I have also heard them advertise (in Sacramento) for the October 08 concert, Celine's new hit songs TC and Alone.

My Love should definitely be a single. Who cares if it sounds like "old" Celine. It's a great song and people should hear it, even those who don't want to hear it.
