Yeah, but the only thing is that majority of the population listen to Bollywood and other Hindi/Indian music and not International music.

But things are changing as more and more people are buying International artists' albums

 

So a GOLD record (or a possible Platinum certification) for "Taking Chances" would be awesome The only other GOLD record from Celine is LTAL

Sony BMG Italy is very happy about the result of "Taking Chances". She did 4 weeks in Top 20, debuting at #5. She's this week the fourth non-Italian album in the chart. Positions from 1 to 13 belong to Italian artists. So, she isn't doing bad at all.
