Celine to star in "An Audience with Celine Dion" on December 22nd - ITV1

An Audience With Celine Dion will see the songstress showcase hits such as My Heart Will Go On, Because You Loved Me and Think Twice as well as debuting some of her new material. Simon Marsh is producer with Sue Andrew as executive producer.

This will be great. She'll sing Think Twice again. I think I'm quite in a minority here, but I really like the idea of getting to hear a live version of My Heart Will Go On. The prerecorded track she's been using like what seems forever is getting a bit boring, so it's not that bad that she'll be doing it live on this show. :flowers:

I agree - I LOVE the live version - as long as she doesn't lipsync :evil:

In retrospect, though - it might be a bad idea considering most non-fans hate this song and it might deter them from becoming fans with the new album :shrug:

She won't, or otherwise she'll be dead. The artists sing live on this show. Even the Spice Girls did. Look for their performance with Elton John on Youtube. The sang live, I mean they can't sing for their money's worth, but it was live.

This is incredible news, and I couldn't care less if it aired 2 weeks before album release date or 2 years. The point is Celine is back on MAJOR MAINSTREAM UK television for the first time in years. The kind of TV that a fifth of the population watch! This is going to be incredible promotion for Celine and the new album.

 

I honestly never thought I would see "An Audience With Celine Dion", so pleased it's actually happening.

I don't know beacuse I am not an expert in these things :confused: BUT .... I think maybe the 30th Octobe date for the "Audience with " may be the recording date.....I know Celine will do X-Factor live and that looks like being on the 27th Oct...to have "Audience" go out so close and with still 2 weeks before the official relase of the album might not be the best move.

 

I think X-Factor date is perfect to raise awareness....and "Audience" should be aired either the 10th or 17th November so as the album is actualy available.

 

Well that's what I think anyway :laugh:

 

Gosh I feel so much better getting that out in the open :clap:

The "Audience With" shows are always broadcast on a Saturday so there was no way it was ever getting broadcast on Tuesday 30th. The most likely air dates are 10th, 17th or 24th November.

Spoke to applausestore on the phone. They are going to contact people next wednesday after tey receive the final list of celebrities for the audience. they told me they are just looking for audience fillers for celebs that cant make it, fingers crossed

Well as most celebs turn up from East Enders or Corrie, can anyone who lives in the vicinity of the studios at Borehamwood and Manchester please go and incapacitate them, then true Celine fans may stand a chance! :bangin:
