if so many artists r going to perform live with her it wont leave her time to sing alone. it's only 1 hour and with all the commercials it's probably 40 minutes so...no musical guests pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee :blink:

 

Well commercials n europe are not as long as in America. In Germany it's only allowed to make 11 minutes of commercial in one hour. Don't know about the UK, but I think it's similar.

The commercials in the US are terrible. There'll be a 3 minute commercial approx every 15-20 minutes on ITV1 so there'll prob be 3 breaks in total. There will be at least one duet for sure though. There always is. And I personally think it'll be someone youngish and newish and from the Uk. God- what if it's Shayne Ward...or Leona? They could do a Celine/Gloria type swap...ok- getting carried away.

i guess she will sing songs from these are special times...to promote it too...

and then sing some from the new album....

and sounds obvious that shell sing mhwgo...bylm

 

i guess bryan adams could be at this audience with...

who knows...

 

the best duet ever is "everything i do..i do it for you"

at taratata....oh god i wish i could have that on dvd.....

I don't think she'll promote TAST at all. Maybe if it had been a 2 hr special. And the Everything I Do duet on Millennium concert was God-awful. Haven't seen the Tarata one though.

I think she should open the European Music Awards with "Oh Holy Night" and mention shortly that it's dedicated to the sweet child of Rene-Charles and all the other childrens in the world. That would be a good promotion.

 

I also think they should then release an instrumental version of OHN from her performance and put 40 remixes of it on a new CD-single - RINGLE! Downloadable from iTunes for 5€ a piece!

I contacted ITV this morning asking about tickets for An Audience with... and thay said it was just for friends, family and celebrities. So I emailed back jokingly saying i was her cousin three times removed and did I qualify? This is the reply:

 

Thank you for your response however I think that your best route to obtain tickets would be through the family.

I loved the episode with the Beegees on this one. But I do think it lasted more than an hour, maybe 1,5 hours? Cant wait to see Céline doing it. Hé! That reminds me! Did Céline appear on the episode of the Beegees? On a screen? I think so! :hmm:

This is great news, besides "who's line is it anyway" this is the show I most wanted Celine to appear on! :clap: I wonder if any of the Bee Gees will return the favour and appear with Celine.

 

I love this show, it has a great informal feel, and it can be really funny when the main act interacts with the audience, though the questions the audience ask them are obviously pre-planned.

 

I hope we get some good collaborations, there are a lot of bands releasing albums at the moment so it gives quite a few options as to who will be put forward to appear on the show. (As, obviously, it is usually artists with a vested interest that appear, as they would appreciate the publicity it brings) As cynical as that might sound, I really dont' mind who Celine "invites" to perform with her.

 

These are really exciting times, it seems we are going to get lots of Celine time in the UK! :kicking:

As many replies after the news posted was about the "An Audience with Celine Dion" show, I thought it's a good idea to split them into its own topic. Also, X factor and the BAFTA got separate topics so I thought why not this one. It's a bit confusing to keep up with all these posts about UK promo. Wow! I can't believe all the stuff we're about to enjoy! One hour, now she has to sing Think Twice - imagine a nice little acoustic version. :wub:

Did Mariah jump off the project when she heard the incomparable Céline would be on aswell? Oh well, one hour of Céline instead of just two tracks! :clap:

 

EDIT: is there still gonna be An audience with Divas??? Or did it had another title? I am so confused about all this, but it's good though!

I just checked youtube to see if I could fine Celines Performance on...An Audience with the Bee Gees and I found half of it

It should be Dave Stewart. He worked on the album with her. Dave Stewart and Annie Lennox would even be better. Imagine: Celine feat. the Eurythmics: Sweet Dreams Are Made Of Taking Chances :wub:

The other two, not a good choice. Doesn't she want to present the new "edgier" Celine?! Not a good idea to sing with those soapy crooners then.
