what r they doing?!?!? finally celine is going to be everywhere again but it's way too early - she'll do the 2 most important shows in the u.k 2 weeks before the release of the album . it will help the sales obviously but it could effect the sales much more had celine went there later on when her album is out!!

celine was at number 1 in the UK for a month with ANDHC and the promo was virtually nothing compared to this so it was obviusly mainly fans. I know its a different time of year but I doubt people will forget they will probably all want it for Christmas.

TV1 to celebrate female singers

ITV1 has commissioned a one-off entertainment special celebrating the world's best female singing talent.

 

Entitled Saturday Night Divas and hosted by Myleene Klass, the line-up includes Celine Dion, Alicia Keys, Jennifer Lopez, Girls Aloud, Leona Lewis, Jameila, Natasha Bedingfield and Chaka Khan performing some of their classic tracks.

 

The show is being produced in association with four of the UK's breast cancer charities and will be broadcast to mark the conclusion of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

 

Saturday Night Divas has been commissioned by Guy Freeman, ITV's controller of music and events and is produced by Michael Kelpie for ITV Productions.

 

Freeman said: "To get artists of this calibre from across the world together on one show is a great coup for ITV1. I'm sure that this collection of amazing performances will not only mean a lot to those who've been fundraising in October but will also be a real treat for all fans of great divas."

 

The broadcaster is also lining up two more major music specials for late autumn made by ITV Productions' entertainment department, Westlife Live On Demand will feature the best selling band performing some of their fourteen number 1 hits plus a selection of new songs from their latest album. Lee Connolly is executive producer.

 

Meanwhile, An Audience With Celine Dion will see the songstress showcase hits such as My Heart Will Go On, Because You Loved Me and Think Twice as well as debuting some of her new material. Simon Marsh is producer with Sue Andrew as executive producer.

 

ITV Productions controller of entertainment, Mark Wells said "For each of these shows, we have collaborated with the artist and their record label to come up with individually tailored formats that play to the artist's strengths."

wow this is the one song i wanna hear live more than any other of her hits i'll probably be shocked at first cause last time i heard her singing it live she still had that unhuman and perfect voice = she would have to change it a bit and work around the notes this time i guess...

 

as for MHWGO and BYLM - i can't hear those 2 songs anymoooooooooooore and i think performing MHWGO will be a mistake . people who watch the show should see a new celine , she can still sing her old hits but not that particular song which reminds people why they hate her so much

I don't know beacuse I am not an expert in these things BUT .... I think maybe the 30th Octobe date for the "Audience with " may be the recording date.....I know Celine will do X-Factor live and that looks like being on the 27th Oct...to have "Audience" go out so close and with still 2 weeks before the official relase of the album might not be the best move.

 

I think X-Factor date is perfect to raise awareness....and "Audience" should be aired either the 10th or 17th November so as the album is actualy available.

 

Well that's what I think anyway
