Finally on a UK radio station!! BBC Radio 2 added Taking Chances to its B playlist yesterday which means it gets about 10 plays per week unless people start requesting it more!

What is 'B playlist' ?

This is good- the radio station with the largest audience has at last included the song. I still haven't heard it on Uk stations. Request request request and get it on the A list. Even One Heart managed that I think- it was never friggin off Radio 2.

P.s I can't believe Leona Lewis is on the A List- I haven't heard the song at all anywhere other than Perez. And that Timbaland song 'Apologize' is gonna give Celine some stiff competeion. It's brilliant.

 

P.p.s Unfortunately Radio 1 is the influential station- and there's more hope of me getting on that playlist than Celine. Although I'd like to be wrong.

i work at treasure island here in vegas... and they have been playing Taking Chances pretty regularly in the casino. I've heard it once per shift the last five days in a row (and TI is an mgm-mirage property, so it's not even like they're just trying to promote shows for harrahs! guess the song is just sooo awesome they can't resist playing it even though Celine is our competition..haha)

 

also, my job does not involve creating the casino playlist..haha... an actual normal person is playing the Celine! yayyy!

i dont know how you've missed leona's song its fricking everywhere taunting me, her video premiere's today on gmtv and we still don't have celine's! She's gonna be big competition for celine over here because all the radio stations are bigging it up, scott mills had it as the track of the week last week

Joseph, I am glad that you identified who you are it is nice to put conversations together with e-mails!

Yeah, we have been playing it a bit, but not heavily.

I'm sure we will be squeezing it in again...just not sure when.

I will make a mention of it to our music producer and see about getting it in more often!

On the back of this however if Terry Wogan plays it then it will be listened to by the biggest radio audience in the UK. although Radio 1 is more influential as Stevo very correctly advises Terry gets 1 million more listeners than radio 1 biggest who is Chris Moyles

i turned on the radio last night for 5 mins while i was driving and a local radio station (the population within its radius must be like 30.000max)

was playing Taking Chances! first time i heard it on the radio! Maybe asking them to add it 2 weeks ago did the trick still not in their top20 though

The woman on the radio said that "This was Celine Dion, i believe everyone recognised her and she provokes us to take a risk , we certainly agree with her" something like that

In Poland, Taking Chances is being played by two biggest radio Polish stations.. RMF FM and RADIO ZET.

 

But i'm sad... today celine fell down from 16th to 19th place... ;(

"Taking Chances" officially starts playing on BBC Radio 2 in the UK tomorrow. Everyone should contact the station from tomorrow letting them know how great they think the song is and let's get it on the A list from next week.
