Céline seems to have an official radio hit in Germany then. It is bound to make a solid jump on the airplay chart soon. Considering Celine is a global artist, we need to encourage her exposure though other media besides radio and TV. My suggestion and what I've actually done here in Boston, is sent an email to the major newspapers to encourage them to write a review of Celine's new album. I told them that it's going to be her best english album to date and that it's building stong buzz on the net. We need to maximize our resources if we want this album exposed and to do well... thevoice Posted October 9, 2007 at 10:07 AM Posted October 9, 2007 at 10:07 AM it's very simple - sony never released this song officialy to pop stations , some stations asked for it or heard about it and got the song . the second sony will deciede to send this song officialy to pop stations we'll see many more radio stations playing this song - 10 spins is nothing . this song is not on the list of songs going for adds and the album is almost out which means that they r not planning to release it . it'll be a hit on the AC format but it will never be a top 40 hit without pop stations playing it and without massive downloads Quote

This happened to me too. Sort of. My story is I called my radio station to request "Taking Chances" and was told it'd be a while before they played it because they just played "That's The Way It Is."
