I believe we don't have to be tiny bit concerned about the success of the song in Germany. I can't wait till I will be able to buy the single digitally and commercially to boost her position on the official single chart which then again will boost her airplay even more. Well, much airplay doesn't always mean good sales... One heart was on 9 on the Airplay Charts and only 56 on the Single Charts here.... Now we will have to help her. I will definitely buy some singles in different stores and I will download it from different online retailers. This should help and if we all do the sae it will have a visible effect. KISS 108 FM Boston. My friend heard it Saturday morning. And, I write this at about 8:45 PM, just about 10 minutes ago, I was talking to that same friend on the phone. He had the station on and the station was doing a promo of its song line-up (you know, where they say the name of the artist, the name of the song, and then play a short clip of the song). So they played a few ... and then came "Fergie," "Big Girls Don't Cry," the clip of the song ... and then he heard ... "Celine Dion," "Taking Chances," and the clip of the song!!! They've apparently added TC to the station's song line-up! So I thought what we could all do now is e-mail the following DJs (separate e-mails but same exact e-mail is fine) telling them that you think the song is great, you're glad the station is playing it, you enjoy hearing it and look forward to hearing it more often. Sadly this is the way it sometimes works. I'm convinced Celine will have a Top 10 hit in the UK with Taking Chances even with only Radio 2 playing the song. The weather was so crappy the last 4th of July tho, we just ate at Little Italy's and watched the fireworks in the rain. lol. UR so lucky u get to live up there, and I'm only there two weeks out of the year. lol I hope you've tried Little Italy's restaurant by now! If not ur missing something huge!
