Nikosn17 Posted May 20, 2008 at 08:46 AM Posted May 20, 2008 at 08:46 AM (edited) WHAT?! Her french concert have always been different from the english... and 70-80% of the songs have always been french songs. What is that? It's almost the same songlist as the other concerts. I'm so dissapointed. Hope they'll change it for the next few concert at Bercy. I didn't like the ''Destin'' performance. ABM was cool. Edited May 20, 2008 at 08:46 AM by Nikosn17 Quote
woodstock Posted May 20, 2008 at 08:56 AM Posted May 20, 2008 at 08:56 AM (edited) You know as a huge fan of Céline who hadn't seen her on a stage for 12 years, I really was impatient to see her yesterday night. When I discovered Antwerp's setlist, I hopped it would be a different one, because that one was surpriseless....but anyway! Who cares? After all, I went to see Céline singing. Most of the songs are just amazing and it doesnt' matter if she did not sing that one or this one, she could never make everyone happy. In France, "1 filles, 4 types" & "D'elles" unfortunately haven't been real successes. I think that people didn't really pay attention to those two records because Céline was far away, although she tried to promote those discs as much as she could. That may be why it's better for a large audience to perform songs that everybody remember, and trust me, yesterday all of these songs made every one stand up in Bercy. Céline is so sincere. She was really moved at the very beginning of "S'il suffisait d'aimer". At the end of "Pour que tu m'aimes encore", she took one of her ears out of her ear to let us sing it for her, she looked really thrilled!!I was lucky, I was sitting really next to Céline's mum and her son. But I was really angry when I saw René-Charles coming out of the backstage to take a sit because at that moment, a lot of "fans" came down to try and to touch him or taking a picture. This poor little boy really looked scared and tried to hide. Can't people leave him alone? He's just a little boy, that was really weird to see all those people going crazy around him. And I'm afraid those people were fans. This is insane.Well anyway, what a great show!! I'll the see the show next week again that wil be the last one in Paris and even if there is no modifications it doesn't bother me! Edited May 20, 2008 at 09:06 AM by woodstock Quote

It's so stupid it's not encluded!! Also when Céline did the D'eux tour, a lot of songs were not singles, but she came to promote D'Eux... now where's the promotion for 1F4T or D'Elles... it's a shame because not only the albums don't get promoted, but even more the gems on those albums (apprends-moi, et je t'aime encore, à cause, le temps qui compte, on s'est aimé à cause) are doomed to be casted into oblivion btw ooooh I feel so sorry for RC!! people should leave him alone!! Jacqui Posted May 20, 2008 at 09:17 AM Posted May 20, 2008 at 09:17 AM Does it matter so much what she sings? Any opportunity to see her is such a blessing...I always said I wouldn't care if she just sat on the stage and cut her toenails, I'd still be happy to be seeing her. And that's exactly how I felt when I finally saw her...I didn't particularly like the Queen thing either, but I just didn't care. I feel bad for Rene-Charles too. I know we love his Mama and we think he's adorable, but he didn't choose that kind of life, to have all that attention...it's not nice to scare him. Thanks for the videos...wow, was she crying right through My Love? It sounded like it. I hope she's alright!! Quote
woodstock Posted May 20, 2008 at 09:29 AM Posted May 20, 2008 at 09:29 AM You can't compare the "D'eux" tour and the actual one, because she recorded hundreds of songs between these two eras! And in 1995, Céline only started to become really popular in France and "D'eux" had been the greatest success of the year so she had to sing this record on stage, things were really different at that time because she hadn't a lot of french songs that people really knew, except the one she did, like "Ziggy" or "L'amour existe encore"But we have to take some things in consideration : Garou is in Paris now, so maybe he will join her to sing "Sous le vent"! And I think we can expect to see Jean-Jacques Goldman joining her on stage for "J'irai où tu iras" one more time and maybe he would stay to backsing "Tout l'or des hommes"! Why not?! Quote

I mean this is the TAKING CHANCES tour..... not Best Of tour I really hope that Garou and JJ will join her on stage, but I'm sure of it... even if it's just for the dvd Quote http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v75/daveyh84/incognito198701_zpsaaootxh1.jpgRick, ik hou van jou voor altijd!A New Day... has come 28/29 April & 2/3 May 07Antwerpen 13 et 14 mai,Paris 24 et 25 mai, Amsterdam 2 juinet Arras 7 juillet Chances Taken!!!How Do You Keep The Music Playing? - Celine Opening Night March 15th, March 16th

artistman2007 Posted May 20, 2008 at 10:07 AM Posted May 20, 2008 at 10:07 AM i mean the thing that she has to do now is to sing more from the new albums and less from the old ones like madonna and all singers do Quote
