It is much better sign posted than the London Underground and there are more stops so you never have to go far before you find another metro station.As for hotels, there is one right in Bercy village which costs about 100euros. I just booked myself in there. But there are others of course...For example, there is an Ibis right by the Gare de Lyon station which is a stone's throw from Bercy arena. Also, taxis are not as expensive as you might think, if worse comes to the worse. At least, I've never had a bad experience in a Paris taxi. If you have any more concerns or questions, just let me know...! Thankfully line 14 has very few stops and is quick so you're actually in a good place.
