i don't mind songs she sang because she sounded great but i thought the songs she has never performed would be her own ones

I'm glad these were wmv files, cos I have no sound on utube! :clap: it looks amazing, seeing all those people cheerling for her at the begining of DUAM gave me chills! :wub2: I wonder if they used the tour opening video, cos you see 'Quebec' at the begining of DUAM, it would be very cool if they did that! :D

i'm sorry to say that but i just watched part of the paul macartny concert and the crowd was much better than celine concert they were very active singing and waving but i felt that celines crowd was not the same at all

Comparing a rock legend with a diva is like comparing apple with orange. Not to mention Celine and Rene doesn't care about the comparison at all.

DUAM sounded better than the tour version. And I don't know, but Celine didn't have Reno's intensity in that duet.

Wow ll those complaining... from what i have heard it sounds amazing. And she has done songs that we never thought she'd do. the genres she covered in that concert is impressive. and that duet with ginette is amazing. only problem was that i didn't hear celine's vocals a lot when they were singing together.

 

if the dvd is released i would be the first to buy it, because not only it is about celine, but also so many great quebec artists are there and the event is used to commemorate a huge milestone.

You're always sorry for everything. Now go to that Pauil McCartney web forum and spread the love for him there. Here NOBODY, basolutely NOBODY cares about him and his songs.

 

The solo tracklist was predictible but the arrangements seem to be a little different. I can't wait to hear the duets. Her voice was spot on like always.

 

She also sang "Tue-moi" (Kill me) with Dan Birgas. Plus a swing song titled "Degeneration" with Mes Aïeux . With her family she sang "La Bastringue". "L’amour existe encore" was sung with Eric Lapointe. With Ferland she sang "Une chance qu’on s’a ".

 

 

A review from Le Soleil spoke about how "Tue-moi" was a big miss as well as the duet with Marc Dupre. The rest however was splendid and the absolute highlight was AGAIN ANOTHER PROOF SHE SHOULD RECORD A JAZZ ALBUM, the song "degeneration:

Wow! Thanks to all of you for the pics and the videos!

I'm happy with the songs, I don't care if they are all over the same again. They changed the arrangements, that's already something. I don't see why I should complain about the concert.

I know she sang with her family :). I think it could be amazing if she sang that specific song with them.

Don't get me wrong... I relly love the perfomence with her brothers and sisters and I think it was so beautiful and sweet :).

Thanks for the pics & videos!

 

Thw show was awesome, all the duos were so beautiful.

 

I was a little bit dissapointed with Celine, cause she sang only what, 6 songs? At least she sang my favorite ( Pour que tu m'aimes encore) and people showed her their love during S'il Suffisait d'Aimer. It was awesome.

 

My favorite duet was with Garou, Dan Bigras, Éric Lapointe & at the end, of course with Ginette & Jean-Pierre. Oh yeah when she sang with her family!! Awesome!

 

Celine let each artist sing a song of their own, so that's why she was not always there. I'm a big fan of hers, so of course I would have love to see her onstage all night long!

 

Besides that, the 20$ was really worth it.

 

I need to find the duo with Garou & Dan on youtube!! I want it :P
