Un peu plus haut is absolutely CLASSIC and SHIVERS INDUCING. The runs, the RUNS if Céline does these runs y'all DIE at the first sounds of it. It'S as amazing.

Jean Pierre Ferland was just interviewed. He said the following:

- Celine and him will start singing the song (it's a song he wrote) and at one point there's a big spotlight and Ginette Reno will appear at the back of the stage and Celine will go look for her, and they'll start singing together. He said it's not about who's going to sing louder and higher, that it will be a very subtle song/interpretation and that for the first time in his life he really understands what the song - his song - is about. He said Celine and Rene will sing together like 2 sisters.

- He said Rene told him he wanted to pay hommage to him, and that's why he chose his song, but he also wanted to pay hommage to Ginette, because without Ginette he would've never met Celine.

Alexandra Diaz just said that Rene called her and told her the new concert they added on February 14th in Montreal (Centre Bell) is the last one of the tour.

My God that song is amazing! :wub: :wub: No wonder they chose it. And I love Isabelle Boulay too, she's got such a distinctive voice, very beautiful voice. I am so gonna cry when I'll hear Celine singing it. There's also Ginette Reno's version on that youtube page. I don't care what Rene and Celine say, Ginette doesn't have half the voice or stage presence Celine has. And that video is from her prime, when she was at her best.

I swear if I had the possibility and this very concert would cost 100 dollars I would shell them out without hesitation.

 

Now let's pray her voice will be up to it. But we all know when she's in Quebec her voice simply soars like an eagle in "Wind Beneath My Wings".

You're telling me!? I swear I cry every time I hear Ton Visage sung by Celine. I don't know what it is about that song, but I just start crying from the first line. I think it also has something to do with the tonality in which Celine is singing it. I noticed there are frequences in some people's voices that just make me start tearing up, because they sound so beautiful to me.

On TVA they just said they're going to show the first images from the concert! I hope they show at least one full song. Alexandra Diaz said Celine is backstage and feeling great, even though she has to give 3 totally different concerts in the last 10 days (English in Boston, mostly French in Montreal, and this concert). She said Celine is going through makeup with all the other artists and then they'll relax in the louge they had built especially for this event.

Also, Celine will fly out of Quebec City for Montreal right after the concert is over.

2 hours to go. Celine will start the concert all by herself, then Garou will come on stage, and then all the others, and they'll finish with Celine, Ginette and Jean Pierre.

I think you got me wrong: they're not going to show the whole concert, just a few images from it.

Did you see? There is like MAJOR traffic chaos on the highways and streets cuzz EVERYONE in Qubec wants to see her there at that open air area!

 

They should hire Denise Bombardier to control traffic!

Garou was also interviewed. He said him and Celine have always been totally honest with each other and that he saw her in Vegas sometimes having really hard times. He said she never hide from him when she's feeling down and there were moments in Vegas when it wasn't fun at all, and that's she's really happy to be back home, after touring the world.

LCN will keep broadcasting throughout the concert, with images from the show. So we'll get a glimpse of what's going on there.

hello guys! what an exciting night i am passing through this night in Greece., trying to keep up with all ur posts and updates!!!!

 

it kills me that i am so may thousand miles away!!!

so please, as i am facing a prb with my pc, are there any videos of celine's rehearsals(the one we got caps from) or of the others artists' interviews on youtube????

 

i 'd die to see them!!!!

So, I'm watching LCN and every few minutes they have an update on the concert. They showed the huge crowd. The musician were rehearsing and it was really rocking! I mean it was really rock! God I wish I was there. I'm all excited and I'm a million miles away. I know I'm not going to sleep tonight, I'll be waiting for reports from the show :laugh: Ca n'a pas de bon sens, like Celine would say :giggle:

They say some fans came to the concert's place since yesterday morning, they slept there, so that they can be as close to the stage as possible.

 

OMG i'm so excitedddd, are there 200 thousand people already???? :w00t:

Yes, according to LCN there are already more than 200,000 people there and they say it could go up to 250,000. I think it's the biggest crowd Celine has ever sung to (live, I'm not talking about TV broadcast of the Olympics in 1996).

But as Koolan said... it will start at 8.50 pm.

 

Someone told me the concert will start at 8h50.
