'Céline sur les plaines' concert for Québec's 400th anniversary, 8-22-2008

Of course there is nothing like being able to experience this live in Québec city with everyone. For those who can and will go I have no doubt it will be one of your most memorable moment with Céline and guests, so unique! not to say that Québec city is such a wonderful place to be. For those lucky fans, have a wonderful time!

 

Hey, I hope someone can help me out here-

 

I am still on the fence about driving up to QC on Friday- I know that at first you needed tickets to get a reserved spot-

My question, since they are allowing 100,000 extra people in addition to the 100,000 tickets distrbuted- Do you still need a ticket to get onto the Plains?

 

Is anyone planning on going ticket-less?

PS- Are we sure we want to see Celine in HD- Remember the I'm alive video?? :blink:

 

 

Does Anyone Have an Information for Me Regarding the NEED or lack there of for a ticket to show on Friday?? :ermm:

Another fan told me that you don't need a ticket to access and you can probably find some there.

 

 

Hey, thanks for the reply- I just found all of the information here (they finally updated it): All the information you need for Celine a la Plaines!

 

 

Who here is going??? I have been to QC maybe 4 or 5 times, but not since 1998 or so- I don't know if I want to go solo...

I can't go to Quebec tomorrow, but I'll be there, at 8:30, in my favorite pyjama with my popcorn & tapes ready to record and watch the concert live from my living room! wohoo. I have nothing tomorrow night, I told everybody " No, I'm watching Celine!! :)" Me & my family can't wait!

I am recording it on videotapes, VHS. So it's not DVD, and HD. I know nothing about those things, and people who gets videos on the Internet from their TV!!

I just saw the program on my TV and it says it starts at 5:15 and ends at 8:30. I hope I'll be able to watch it because my parents never let me pay to watch anything on TV :|

If it wasn't for the 18 hour bus ride (one-way) from NYC to Quebec, I would have gone! The train is sold out too. :down:

According to the organizers there's no plan to release this concert on DVD, so someone must record it. Pleeeeeeasssse!

I just saw a commercial on TVA and as I understood right, the show will be directly broadcasted. Am I right?!

P.S. I watch it online so I'm not able to record anything but I do hope somebody will get it to record the entire gig for us :)

 

How many people from our forum are going to attend the tonight's show?

Can we expect loads of pictures, videos, reviews and so on?? ^_^

No, it will only be broadcasted on pay-per-view by several channels. You won't be able to see it online, unfortunatelly...
