It's actually also Edward's merit as well. He helped me as well collecting the info on his iBook the whole morning in the Mozambiquian heat!

why do people always have to complain?? :rolleyes: in the last 2 weeks she did an english show,a french show and now this one! Do you think Céline has the memory of an elephant? It's amazing she did as many new duets imo! I can't wait to see it all, it looks like a once in a lifetime experience! :wub2: thank you all for the videos, photos and updates! :D

 

 

I so agree with you! :clap: From what I've seen of the videos, she's in top performance shape. Being at home certainly brings out the best in Celine! I don't care what she sings! She sang the songs beyond beautifully! :clap: SHe's home! She's happy! She's healthy! She still feels good enough to give her best in spite of her hectic schedule! SHe's beautiful! The list goes on and on!!! This is what is most important, right!!!

 

I'm going to her concert in November!! Can't wait!!!!

And I am so glad she sand Si dieu existe with Claude Dubois! I have loved this song ever since I saw their performance at the Ste Justine concert... Her voice was amazing that night!

 

I'm sure these questions have been asked but could anuone confirm if the show will be televised and will their be a DVD? I would love to have it.

I'm just blown away! Definatelly one of the best concerts Celine has ever given. They MUST release this on DVD!

Thank you for the photos and videos. I'm not going to spoil it, I'll wait for the recording to be posted, so I can watch it properly on my TV.

It's not fair for someone too look as beautiful as Celine did, it makes the rest of look butt ugly :giggle: She's just to gorgeous!

Céline was very smart to take a "back seat" during the song with Ginette Reno. It's one of Ginette's songs and she is an icon in Quebec - and if Céline had sang louder, I'm sure there would have been negative comments about it.

VERY intelligent of her...

 

And why do people complain about the setlist? Gee, I guess some people have no idea what it means to put a show together. Of course, she couldn't start rehearsing 10 more songs that she hasn't done in sooo long. Not while her tour is going on anyway...

Thanks for all the reviews and videos! What an amazing concert!

 

I do not speak nor understand French, but I really enjoyed watching the videos! It was a very emotional and magical evening and I wish I could have been there!

DUAM sounded better than the tour version. And I don't know, but Celine didn't have Reno's intensity in that duet.

 

I'll tell you why...because Céline was in tears since the very first minute she went at the edge of the stairs to help her chilhood idol Ginette come down and she was till the very end. Also and most importantly because Céline is the most generous artist I have ever known. She shared her stage with every guest artists all night long with so much pleasure giving them so much place and light. Céline wanted Ginette to have her moment and seing again last night how so generous Céline was, I admire her today even more :wub: if possible!!! :wub: I know of no other Diva who would to that with others...Céline is an outstanding singer and truly an incredible human being. Une Grande Dame!!! and people noticed it big time! A magic night with our Céline and friends for Québec's 400e anniversary. :wub:

Absolutely ! I agree 100%. :thumbsup2: ..and yes about Céline's duet with Ginette, hearing people's comments today, they all noticed how generous Céline was...Québec fans know Céline well....and she was generous all night long with everyone, sharing generously. That's another reason why she is so beloved by her fans. She always try to bring light on others, I guess she's very secure in what she can do and who she is. Humble, generous and so very talented...Bravo Céline! I talked with friends today that are not fans of Céline and they thought it was an amazing show full of emotions and generosity on Céline's part. Great show, very emotional!! :wub:

I'd like to add that with Céline's brothers and sisters it wasn't only La Bastringue but kind of medly of old Québec folk songs that many people here sang in family partys. A great family moment!
