I'm glad that a lot of you have come to peace with the fact that Celine is just this person who is allowed to be picked at--but I'm not quite there yet.

 

Those were pathetic comments to make--hinting to the public that he's only working with Celine for the money. That's not a compliment. It's just a giant step backwards for Celine to work with people like him--who have such a low respect for her creatively.

This is wrong. It's about a basic principle, something that Céline incarnates when she's out recording, spreading her LOVE in the studio by spending, thanking and appreciating other producers' work. It may be his arrogant character that speaks out of him about money or big fame but there is absolutely no excuse for being as blunt as he was about her. There was no acknowledgement whatsoever from his mouth about Céline's talent. An acknowledgement that should have been stated at once after the biatches attacked her yet again just cuzz she's "Céline Dion". It's about basic principles, not buisness thinking, but this human level. This is missing in Ne-Yos' statements. He comes off as fake arrogent bitchtard concerned about his very interests, nothing more.

I'm not a drama queen. I personally dont care about petition for usless things like a song or single and etc etc

we cant go so far away. But I personally found him unprofessional. People are free to do not like celine's songs that's true but that was not a good answer! to me it sounded like he didnt care about celine as an artist or a talented singer etc etc . He just did all for money according to his answer e and this is not nice he could be more dimplomatic. There's absolutely nothing wrong in working with these producers and I give Céline all the props for broadening her horizons but as we know double bottomed individuals are quickly debunked by simplest questions. In the black music world there exist a secret or not so secret rule of respect that apparently doesn't involve Céline. This is the very reason Ne-Yo's ego should be denounced. Do not denounce Céline yet for her will to try things out, she may succeed with some other more honest ppl!

You are vastly underestimating the power of Quebec journalists to whom I wrote letters. They can make a difference, not that I expect them to but they will surely think twice and just in case someone may make sure René gets the wind of it as well. That's what it is all about.

I'm pretty sure that's what he said, and I don't think he meant any disrespect towards Céline, he's an insecure sorta newcomer in the industry, he didn't take the anchors' comments as insultive to Céline but as to himself since it was his integrity that was being questioned, hence the money comment, it's no secret that money will get you some confidence. Maybe he should have vindicated Céline, but he didn't, shoot him for not thinking that fast. He's no diplomat, so what.

Thanks for clarifying - that part fits here, but still doesn't change the essence of his offensive remark or rather...his blunt verbal withdrawal.

 

And wouldn't his ego that keeps mentioning money and hits hinder him from going into the defensive about Céline? I think it should and it's evident to me that he didn't manage or even try to get his ego going and say that he is very proud of working with Céline who is after all the ultimate diva in today's music kaleidoscope. yea he definately should show Celine respect and act diplomatic instead of trying to go for the "cool" factor... like when Justin timberlake and timbaland go for the respecting collegaues in the music industry stuff or how even R kelly handled it with Celine..

 

But i think yes Celine should know about what he is saying about her because i wouldnt want them to be snickering behind her back while she is showing them respect and saying "whazzup" and things trying to fit in with them . Celine and Rene HAS to hear this interview.
