This song is a beautiful ballad, and Celine sings it with perfectly measured feeling and insight into the text. This song also highlights some of Celine's more remarkable vocal abilities: that of control, of shading and coloring, and of original characterization - Celine creates an almost completely new R&B voice for this song. It's a cliche to say Celine always hits the note head on, but it's true. For me, this song illustrates Celine's phenomenal voice and exceptional musical intelligence. So, if it is true that there is some absurd celebrity magazine-generated problem here, I hope it is resolved, because a Celine/Ne-Yo collaboration has real possibilities for the future. Quote
