Kylian84 Posted August 24, 2007 at 07:47 PM Posted August 24, 2007 at 07:47 PM I found that article on internet. Dave Stewart talks about Taking Chances & Taking A Chance.. This time the story between their lines was even more correct than the rumours themselves. According to an ELLE magazin article from July 2007 and various websites, David A. Stewart worked on a song for Celine Dion. PerezHilton.com reported on July 29, 2007 that the title of the Stewart-produced track is "Taking A Chance." Reading this not few fans thought of the song "Taking chances" by Platinum Weird (2006: Dave Stewart and Kara DioGuardi) which is like the whole band gone with the wind and withouth any appropriote notice. After the unreliability of the sources and the differences in the titles one agreed that those must be two different songs. Now the whole thing turned around and got even a new quality when Kara DioGuardi herself wrote on her official website "Kara's song 'Taking Chances' is slated to be the first single off of Celine Dion's highly-anticipated forthcoming album." and Dave Stewart confirmed it. Song's second life - may be platinum, surely weird. Ethrill.net Chri Quote http://i216.photobucket.com/albums/cc194/Kylian84/firma1.jpg

Yes, we have the single called "Eyes On Me", produced by Timbaland … It's a fun club song that I hope everybody can enjoy. http://monicamania.blogdrive.com/archive/1962.html and another article One track that has been on the list since I first created it is Samantha Jade's "Eyes On Me" produced by Timbaland with either co-production or writing credits by Ryan Tedder of One Republic . The track was origianlly to be her 1st single off her debut album but it has since been replaced with "Turn Around". Up till this point "Eyes On Me" was the only known track she did with Timbaland but it seems as though she actaully did 2 tracks along with working with other A list producers. http://thomascrownchronicles.blogspot.com/...-timbaland.html Edited August 25, 2007 at 12:16 AM by Loup_garou Quote

And it has 100% the same arrangement of Céline's version. And also covers and adaptations could be found on LTAL: "Treat Her Like A Lady", "Love Is On The Way", "Amar Haciendo El Amor", "When I Need You", "Just A Little Bit Of Love", "I Hate You Then I Love You" and "Let's Talk About Love". thevoice Posted August 25, 2007 at 10:54 AM Posted August 25, 2007 at 10:54 AM my problem is not with the number of covers she is recording seb , my problem is with their attitude when it comes to her english career. for once i truely thought they took their time and worked with various producers that wrote special songs FOR CELINE - instead we r getting those mega-producers giving her songs they already recored with other singers...it's like they r choosing the easy way always when it comes to her english career . it's not like they gave her brilliant songs from the 80's - "taking chances" and "eyes on me" for example were recorded recently by other artists and from what i understand many of the other songs too - i truely hope that the final tracklist will be diffrent from what shon and the others heard in the preview....maybe there r 5 or 6 songs that already made it to the album and what the fans heard r the songs they r not sure about Quote

Loup_garou Posted August 25, 2007 at 10:45 PM Posted August 25, 2007 at 10:45 PM (edited) and about the whole Timbaland "eyes on me" subject it seems the gossip is out of hand This is what the girl from the blog replied: Posted by Hamada aka Monica @ 08/26/2007 03:17 AM PDT Hey Loup, thanx for the comment. Actually, one of the listeners who had a preview of Celine's new album said that "Eyes On Me" was produced by Timbaland, and since Samantha said in an interview that it's a song that's fast paced and shows her vocal abilities, it made perfect sense to me that it's the one I'm talking about. Maybe I'm wrong, but there's a strong possibility that I'm right too. Keep writing Still there's a strong chance as all the covers we already have found on the album and the fact that suddenly this newcomer changes a song from Timbaland called "eyes on me" wich was supposed to be her first single to a whole different track Edited August 25, 2007 at 10:48 PM by Loup_garou Quote
