I need help

I can't choose what to buy : Taking Chances CD+DVD [ENHANCED] edition, $19.99 or CD+DVD (Expanded Special Packaging) [ENHANCED], $31.99

What is so special in CD+DVD (Expanded Special Packaging) [ENHANCED] ?

 

Help me in this delicate question

Buy the third now but an advice from me? - don't order now because maybe they will released another release when it out with a bonus track.

 

I honestly don't understand the infatuation of many of you with "Soldier". You haven't heard it even and whine about it. It's surely only bonus track material that will get released sooner or later but not on the proper release cuzz perhaps... it's not worth it?

 

Yeah I agree, it probably wasn't that popular with listeners. They surely would have tested it out and its unlikely they would replace it if it was that good.

 

Yes, even the reviewer of the album from the album preview on 20th August was not so like this track.

ok i have to say about Kara , i dont know , i think they really made her look stupid in the video, to me there was not much diference and the way the video is edited it looks like its done that way, to make her look dumb , for the first time i find a participation of a producer unconfortable to everyone, there was tension in the studio and you could feel it, i could sense attitude from Celine and that girl kara. Anyway loved the video and i cant wait for the CD to be out.

ok i have to say about Kara , i dont know , i think they really made her look stupid in the video, to me there was not much diference and the way the video is edited it looks like its done that way, to make her look dumb , for the first time i find a participation of a producer unconfortable to everyone, there was tension in the studio and you could feel it, i could sense attitude from Celine and that girl kara. Anyway loved the video and i cant wait for the CD to be out.

What I sensed and felt was the perfectionism and confidence of an artist, which I believe is truly Kara DiGuardia.

Kara wrote the song: she knows her work.

 

Celine has an accent, which does affect her vocal products when she is singing, in English. Kara's job is not to be there, sit and be in amazement of Celine. For a mega diva's "new direction" album - quality could not be compromised because of intimidation of the producers towards the diva (Celine). They are paid mega dollars to bring out the best in Celine. A great director (in which Kara plays a role in this production) would be able to point out the flaws and do creative and constructive criticism. Notice, also, that when Celine got it right, Kara gave her compliments.

 

Kara brought out the best in Celine.

I commend her for this.

That's Just The Woman In Me

 

I don't like this song. Celine sings it brilliantly, but I don't like the whole rock shouting thing. It will probably be my least favorite on the album.

 

Alone

I've always liked this song, and I'm SO excited to hear the full version. I like how the song is soft in the first half, and heavier in the second half.

 

Eyes On Me

Not bad. I lurve how Celine is so humble and said that Shakira should have done that song. It shows how she isn't full of herself like Mariah Carey is. I also lurve how she said the song still intimidates her. Really? Celine gets intimidated while singing? She said it has an oritental sound, I'd say it's more Salsa, and yes...DEFINATELY an ideal song for Shakira, but Celine can sing better, lol. This song is probably too high for Shakira anyway since she's an alto.

 

Song For You

I don't like this song. It reminds me of "Seduces Me" or "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" which I'm not crazy about. Once again though, she's humble. She didn't want to record it because his version was SO perfect. I love how she can admit that she can't sing evreything better than everyone (even though I think she can, lol).

 

Suprise Suprise

It's actually kind of hard to tell what the finished product will sound like, but it doesn't sound too bad actually. I don't think this woman was being mean to Celine or anything...she just knew how she wanted the song to sound, and Celine herself even said that she really appreciated it.

 

A World To Believe In

A classic Celine ballad. I love it. I love how at the end she sings some pretty high notes. Not that she hasn't done it before, but I always love hearing it, lol.

yeah i agree. i think the stuff kara was 'correcting' celine on was mostly her accent. i think she might have been a little too attitudey for my taste but i also can understand what she was trying to do.

Kara pissed me off too to be honest- yes she wanted the best out of Celine but it seemed she wanted to tell Celine every anonciation on every word and Celine did seem peeved off. You're right about the guy beside her looking uncomfortable. And the way Celine hugged her at the end suggested she was thinking "me no likey". Oh well. That song is gonna sound amazing, I just wished we had some Celine magic instead of it being directed.

 

WORLD TO BELIEVE IN is so far my favourite on the album. I cried and totally had a Celine moment- watching her record that on the Celine background I have on my PC drinkin my morning coffee out of my Celin emug. Sounds sad and obsessive but I fell in love again. I'm deoted to her 100%. These coming months are going to be so much fun.

 

AND!!!!! Last night my boyfriend rang me to say he had sent me an email about Celine- this was surprising since he doesn't really get my obsession (but obviously is forced to listen to her) so I ran down to check my emails and the title said 'Celine in the old days'- so I opened it and there was a Flight Confirmation for Virgin Atlantic Flights to New York for my birthday!!! We're going for a week in November! I can't believe it!! Thanksgiving in NYC!!! I've never been before. I loe him so so so much.Sorry for the off-topic but I thought I'd share my hapy news with my Celine friends!!! maybe she'll be promoting there that week!!!!lol

 

 

I agree...I think it is going to be an amazing song, but because it was so directed Celine won't be able to produce the same performance live...not that it's a bad thing...
