I haven't had the chance to see the recording sessions, but all of this sounds so good... I thought D'elles really hit the roof but it seems that she's back on the mainstream English music front, too If only they played her songs!!Still waiting to hear the new single on the radio... I still stand by what I said on Alone, but I'm thrilled it's gotten a better reception than I anticipated. I still think she sings it stale and stiff, and the arrangement just can't compare to the original rocking screaming guitars version Heart put out. I still don't get any emotion when she's singing it. It just sounds hollow to me. When I listen to Heart sing I can hear the angst and anger in Ann's voice, but Celine is just straightforward, almost like she enunciates too much. I always said the ending was incredibly powerful, but I'm still not sold on the middle. Either way I still love it! That's Just the Woman in Me is still abso-freakin-lutely incredible. Can you even believe she screams to hard at the end! It's stunning! I can't wait for this to come out, it's fantastic. I'm glad people got to hear that crazy India beat in Eyes on Me! I loved it and the full song is great. A Song For You is still mediocre, although it's just the vocals that aren't great. I think she sounds incredibly nasal and it will just have to grow on me. This track list comes from Sony Music Germany and it's quite reliable. And I won't forgive you for scaring the heck out of me with the describtion of Céline's Alone. I wasn't expecting much about that cover, but then... when I listen her in studio recording that strong line "till now...", I thought: "OMFG!!! What the hell??? Wasn't that to be weak?". If she would have copied the exact musical arrangement (or even more rock, which would be a mistake), she would've been blasted. Fans would complain it's too similar to the original and music critics, HEART fans and millions who love the original would not find it original.
