"Taking Chances" album - Official Topic

I'm not quite sure what to think of That's the Woman in Me. I find that it feels forced. At least from the small bit we heard. I loved Alone. Eyes on me was certainly interesting and I can't wait to hear it in good quality. Same thing goes for A Song For You. I think it can be a good song but I'll really only be able to judge it once I hear it on the CD. Surprise Surprise... sounds promissing and World To Be Believe In also sounds good. All in all I like what I've heard however there's still many songs from the album we haven't heard, not to mention i have to hear them in good quality to make a final decision on how I like each of them.

Holy crap! I believe this will be the best English album Celine has ever made! The songs are so awesome its not even funny. There are no words to describe how great this is!

ok, i'm okay...anyway i'm lovin' this!!!! except 'suprise, suprise' , kara dioguardi is to demanding and i don't like her, she needs to just shut up and let celine sing it the way she wants to. celine was overly doing the song or better yet not really feeling the song, and kara was getting on celine's nerves, love to hate her..no!! hate to hate her...i don't know why she did that song, i don't like it

Yes, that woman is so annoying!!!!!!!!!! And Celine was fed up with her lol I don't know.... LOL but she seems to be uncomfortable (to be a good girl and not going to say other word..lol ) And Celine was very polite & professional on this situation as it wouldn't be any different because that how Celine is. I don't like it because then Celine is not feeling the song - singing it with lots of feelings... instead it makes the song 'cold' & 'mechanical' in my opinion. I prefer when Celine goes by her feelings and instincts.

I feel exactly the same way, especially since it will be released on the day after my birthday. :confused: And in the past here in Costa Rica, record stores start selling the albums on the weekend prior to their official release date. :blink:

I just finished watching the whole thing and this album seems absofreakinglutely AMAZING!

World To Believe In . . . . loved it..... it's so perfect... the melody....

this is going to be a great album !!!!

A song 4 u.... mmmmmm let's wait to get the whole thing....

the other were great thought Woman in me sounds a bit forced... i don't know what she wanted to do... maybe sing with more strenght.... she could have been done those note clear....

I loved Kara and Surprise, Surprise. That girl had a great ear and I wish more people that work with Celine in the studio would be more exacting about the way she sings. I didn't get the vibe that she was being envious and mean, but just that she knew what the song required, and wanted Celine to do it justice. This girl is a professional, and think she was right to stop and ask for more takes. This might be a song where we don't get any throaty or nasal tones. Sometimes, the more correcting artists will bring out the best in Celine!! I'm looking forward to this song. Perhaps WE will thank her later!!

lmao...Wow Kara...you know I actually think Kara treated this song as her baby and she wanted it to be perfect! Now we know Celine is a true professional and she handled the situation with grace I loved how Celine said "...I love her to hate her..." :lol: I love how Celine voices her opinion!

First of all I have to say I LOVE the video...the songs are amazing....My favourites are "Alone" and "World to believe in".. :wub:

And "Eyes on me" is perfect for swinging your hips :kicking: I cried when I heard "Suprise Suprise", "World to believe in" and "Song to you"

They are very touching for me! And Celine is as funny as always :laugh:
