I think the Valentine single release will be only for the radio and for the French public. NO video. The video will be shot for the PROPER first single in April or so I believe.

 

I do hope "La Diva" will be the first PROPER single. OMG

Bambam, if already the author itself says the song will be talked about and proposes an orchestral intrumentalization to it, well then I CAN'T ASK FOR MORE! I can't make you like it but I know for sure that if she'll sing it with orchestra like she did on Pappillion then I will love it.

but i'd love "la diva" with an orchestra, i don't think that "la diva" will have anything to do with "papillon", thank god

Novi album Celine Dion (26.1.2007.)

Krajem svibnja ili početkom lipnja ove godine, na svjetskom će tržištu biti objavljen novi album Celine Dion! Nova kolekcija pjesama zove se D'elles / French album, a posebnost ovog uratka je ta što su stihove svih pjesama napisale – žene, ugledne autorice iz Francuske i Kanade. Francoise Dorin, Christine Orban, Nina Bouraoui, Marie Laberge, Lise Payette, Denise Bombardier, Nathalie Nechtschein, Janette Bertrand samo su neke od uglednih autorica, tekstopisaca, zastupljenih na ovom atraktivnom albumu. Glazbu je radila ekipa u sastavu Jacques Veneruso, David Gategno, Erick Benzi, Goldas Arzel, a sve je nadgledao Jean Jacques Goldman.

Materijal je u završnoj fazi, a prvi će singl biti pjesma "S'il n'en restait qu'une (je serais celle-la)" koja će na radio postajama diljem svijeta biti predstavljena između 14. i 18. veljače 2007, a u (fizičkoj) prodaji singl će se naći krajem travnja ili početkom svibnja ove godine.

Uz standardno izdanje albuma, u prodaju će biti puštene specijalna edicija – CD/DVD Digi-pack – u limitiranoj nakladi, kao i Collector De Luxe Box.

Digi-pack izdanje će, osim CD-a i DVD-a, sadržavati posebnu knjižicu o karijeri Celine Dion, dok će Collector De Luxe izdanje biti dodatno opremljeno s dvije knjižice s ukupno 48 stranica, zanimljivim slikama, nekoliko razglednica (s posebno dizajniranim kuvertama) s likom Celine i novim parfemom u čijem je osmišljavanju i nastanku djelomično sudjelovala sama Celine.

Video spot za prvi singl, Celine će početi snimati za šest do sedam dana, a spot će režirati Thierry Vargnes. Napomenimo još da će već spomenuti prvi singl krajem veljače, a najkasnije do početka ožujka, biti dostupan i u digitalnom / download obliku, a na kojem Internet portalu, još nije određeno / potvrđeno.

Osim svega navedenog, Celine priprema i novi "engleski album", a čiji datum objave još nije definiran, ali se njegovo objavljivanje očekuje krajem ove ili početkom sljedeće godine.

Celine Dion je u dosadašnjoj karijeri objavila osam albuma na engleskom jeziku, pet na francuskom, te dva live i jednu Best Of kompilaciju, a ukupna prodaja svih albuma u njenoj, dvadeset godina dugoj, karijeri dostigla je brojku od 180 milijuna ploča, čime posve zasluženo još uvijek nosi titulu Best Selling Female Artist in the World.

Addition to the collector edition: IF I got it well, it will be TWO booklets with the page amount of 48. And they also say a some postcards will be added - they surely mean these nice thick pics you can buy in Céline's boutique. They mention something about envelopes as well and lika of Céline = splints??? LOL

 

May I also add that I completely lost all my exquisite hope for the first single. Crappy video director, crappy music, decent lyrics. It will be just "ok", nothing more I fear. Good that I'll have Quincy's "I Knew I Loved You" for compensation - sappy lyrics, gorgeous music, great producer.

 

"D'elles" seems to be a VERY decent album, of course. But you will have to neglect the first single.
