No.. the hair is very good right now... She doesn't need to change her hair everytime she releases something......

what's her hair like now? i still want to see the "sous le vent" - "god bless america" hair...she should use it more (i think it suits the concept of the album too)

I'm ambivalent about the first French single actually as of recent:

 

- I DON'T want her to scream all the way throug the song cuzz it's not the tradition in her French songs

- I DON'T want her using cheap@$$ pop guitars like all the other pop stars out there, on top of thatshe's singing in her holy French

- I DON'T want her overshadow the lyrics of the song with her voice - the lyrics HAVE TO shine

 

but on the other hand a different factor comes to my mind: David Gategno. Now considering he is in I think the following whhich makes me go CRAZY in ze head:

 

- I DO WANT her to use heavy vocals on the first single just to overshadow the shallow pop guitar background

- perhaps but only just PERHAPS it would be time now in 2007, in the light of this shallow producers to let Céline sing her @$$ off for the first time in her French career?

- On the other hand I WOULD WANT her to shine on the single which has to be amazing so Céline's voice = amazing, scream like hell = song perceived as amazing

- The lyrics of the song will be surely GOOD, but not amazing, better than TLODH for sure but nothing comparable to JJG's so this may be yet another argument for screaming

- If she decided to scream then it would mean it would put focus of the song onto her voice, not the (still GOOD not amazing) lyrics

 

So I'm leaning towards a big Dion vocal delivery on this new single. Just to make sure it will be well received and well striking. Cuzz we already know it will have DECENT lyrics and Dion vocals AND shallow music. Ergo I wish she'd rather overshadow the latter with her delivery. This is somehow an unprecedented view as she indeed never had to do it in French but it would be for a good cause. Scream for a good cause, Céline !

noone really knows how she'll sound there and we dont have any idea whether she'll sing it in a lower key or might scream it all the way .

 

i want a song like LEE...with powerful long notes and an amazing vibrato - i dont want her just to scream like she is doing every night in LCMM - i hate it! u cant even call it singing

Of course it's amazing. Céline's French songs are actually worth of analyzing - even if have only partial info. But info we have and I am basing my speculations on this very info we actually HAVE.

I know, julien, that's the reason I am not expecting much yet I wish there would be something in the new French single to capture one's attention! I just hope it turns out well. Thet's where my ramblings are coming from.

i think you're speculating just to speculate :S

 

you're repeating the same thing about 4 times i think and you 've already made your opinion about what is "shallow" ABSOLUTELY clear.i think these lyrics will be far better than JJG and with music you wanna hear again

 

and the long notes have and will always be COOL.there's always Xtina if celine stops which is not the case or i can sing the middle part of "i surrender" on my own till my throat bleeds!!!
